Anyone picked this up yet?

Personally, I'm very pleased that Zen United are releasing this fairly quickly (This October) compared to the wait we had for Calamity Trigger.

Oh, also. Europe gets an Ultimate Fan Collection:

Only 500 are being made, and I've managed to get one pre-ordered!

Edit: Opening Video for you guys =3

This song is called (Hekira no Sora e Izanaedo) 碧羅の天へ誘えど by Kotoko.

Yeah, I bought it. The game is good, but it's worse off than CT balance and noob friendly wise. The character balance is totally out of wack now, well, not like it was Street Fighter balanced in the first place. Bang is his own tier followed by Ragna and Litchi. Then you're next best pick would be Hazama. The rest of the cast is meat against these characters. They can be competitive but if you're competitive with them you'd be winning more/more easily with one of the mentioned 4. Obviously though online can't be trusted so this will only matter if you're playin' locally or at tournaments. That being said the netplay is leaps and bounds above Capcom's system with the SFIV games and it is actually a little smoother than CT. Really, the netplay is about as good as you can get pre-GGPO, but still not good enough to be a reliable tally for how good you are.

The only real problem I have with the game is that Beginner Mode is allowed online, not only in Player Matches, but also in Ranked Matches. You also can't -not- allow it in your custom rooms. It wouldn't be a problem if Beginner Mode was like the one in CT where you just had some specials mapped to the D-Pad. In addition to that, in CS, each button (D - A,B, & C) represents a combo (spammed), not their normal attack. I'm pretty sure you don't even have to jump cancel, it does it for you... The problem with allowing this mode in online play isn't that scrubs lookin' for the easy way out can snag a win here and there, since they'd get beat anyway, usually, but if someone who actually knows how to play the game uses it, it's like you're playin' a fuckin' EVO champion. Last and most important of all the reasons why this is bad; If you have a good player, playing in normal mode, online, chances are he'll drop a combo from time to time because of lag. If you use Beginner mode lag will not effect you after your first hit, since it is all automatic.

Despite that though, I enjoy the game. I bought the PS3 version this time around and I'm regretting that though. I run into "players" who are pretty good, good enough to take me to the last round, and then standby for the win. I've never had that happen on the Xbox, ever, in a fighting game. Everything will be fine for two whole rounds and then on the decisive round BAM it's flip book city.

Shouldn't surprise anyone but... Ultimate fan edition made exclusively for Europe has sold out.

uh CS is way more balanced then CT was I have no idea what you're smoking, they nerfed a lot of things that where OP and downright removed underused skills.

And as for noob friendly.... they added a tutorial and guide mode.. how is that less noob friendly 0.o?

I likes it.

No.

There are a lot of changes though that do help the scheme of things. It definitely is a plus over CT, but the imbalances are still there and needlessly so. Look at SSFIV for instance, the entire cast, minus Dan and Hakan, is pretty evenly fit to win against each other.

You misread, that's how.

I likes it.

Me too, don't get me wrong.
