I very highly doubt that anyone in the right state of mind is going to give a 16 year old student £12.50 and hour when they only have to give him £3.00. Besides, the only jobs a student who hasn't finished compulsory learning is only leagally allowed to work in a job like a food establishment or wash cars and crap like that, until you finish school. Would you pay someone £12.50 for working in McDonalds? Anyways, the biggest piece of evidence out the fact that this is a lie is that it came from Blazn

When I asked my uncle about it (who replied "bollocks") he showed me the website, which says:

"Understanding National Minimum Wage law
National Minimum Wage rates
The main rate of the National Minimum Wage (NMW) is £5.05. The NMW development rate is £4.25 per hour. The young workers' rate for 16 to 17 year olds who are above the age of compulsory schooling is £3.00 per hour. These rates will increase from 1 October 2006 to £5.35, £4.45 and £3.30 respectively."

yeah place i am on is crown owned as the duke or normany is well err the queen but if the queen was not we not be part of UK lol all downt o 1066 and some guys killing other guys for a gold hat XD

Summary

Original intent of this post:
One noob QCDN user A telling QCDN user B to leave QCDN because user B doesn't play here anymore (neither do I, btw) so that user A can get some brownie points with the crowd that doesn't like user B.

Upon realization that the original intent was weak, focus shifted to the income of user B:
Failure to realize that minimum is different from maximum, and that cost of living on the main island is vastly different from the cost of living on the Channel islands.

Nice try, I rate this thread R, for retarded.
