After watching this weeks episode, I'm standing by my theory that at the time this story takes place, Yamamoto already knows. Since when Ichigo did use his hollow powers, he seemed pretty indifferent.

So wait wtf. Its going on break for two weeks now, and the episode preview was back in the hueco arc. But this episode didn't finish shit. So is 189 gonna be filler again after the break or what, cause thats pretty gay to break before the last episode of an arc.
Uh, it wasn't a preview. All the footage that was going on during the announcement was old stuff. I think it's safe to say that October 7th is when things get back on track, so two more episodes of Amagai.

personally the ambiguity and hypocrisy behind yamamoto's indifference to ichigo's mask is pretty confusing with the fact that Shinji's people were pretty much given the hammer while Ichigo just waltzes by?
I don't think Byakuya is very fond of telling other people's business since he's pretty secretive and fairly indifferent of other people's predicaments I took his not inquiring of ichigo's hollow as a sign of respect twoards him in general. It'd also be strange that Byakuya would want to pass along info he doesn't fully understand himself.
How the soul society is run and how they act is half assed in my opinion, like them relying on Urahara to get their butts ready for Aizen when they persecuted him for hollowfication. Could also go into the captains with their own defective-like agenda mostly mayuri and kenpachi.
But Tite Kubo has always been good at explaining things maybe he'll shed some light on the difference of the situations here, but introducing new elements into side stories is never a good idea imho.

Hitsuguya didn't see it, imo. Ichigo was slightly in front of him. I watched that part a few times just to make sure. He could have sensed something strange but he didn't see it. Unless of course he already knew about it and just expected it, which no one can say but it's slim. As for the rest, speculate all you want but don't talk to me like your certain and I'm an idiot. I make no presumptions. As far as the anime goes, the cat was let out the bag FOR CERTAIN, for now. Sayin' it was let out of the bag already to BigBoss and common info to everyone/majority would be a prediction. Even Rukia was surprised about it, had it been common info, you'd think she'd have not been surprised for sure.
Also, though Yomamoto technically seemed indifferent, he did open his eyes. You could also say him simply openin' his eyes is equal to the "wtf" from Rukia and the others.

Thats the only thing that can make sense to me. And theres only one episode left in the amagai arc because of the info above and the new op/ed start with episode 190 (according to ANN) and they would start those with the new arc.
I'm thinking it's going to be a one and a half hour long episode, because while the Episode listing says 189 is the final episode of the Amagai arc, the Amagai Arc DVD set to release in November in Japan goes to 171. And given the fact that the new time slot is one hour earlier than the old one, that could back up that theory. Some more support is that usually when anime from Studio Pierrot breaks for X number of weeks, the airing before or after the break is usually a block airing containing episodes that would have otherwise aired during said break.
Kinda like how the final "episode" of Avatar was titled Sozin's Comet, but each of the 4 22 minute blocks had a subtitle as well.

New episode was kind of a let-down. I expected things to get friggin' EXPLOSIVE but it got a little heated then they tried to pull a tear jerker. 'Least they're retunin' us to the goods. The preview to the next episode was awesome when Orihime pulled out the manga and told Ichigo to go to "Bankai and then go to this section here".
