Yeah but it was important filler. Its just telling the story in better detail. Makes it more structured. To me the story isn't as good and makes less sense if everything is just rushed. This is my reason why I don't mind the fillers like I mentioned earlier. But again thats just how I like it.

The only fillers I hate are when they focus on characters that have nothing to do with the main storyline or just silly events. They did that a few times on the soul society arc which was annoying.

Around 223 or so. 217 is when Ichigo first goes back to fight the hollow inside him for the Vizard training, so you can just skip a few chapters and start there. It's definitely before 231; but I just have a gap of the manga between those two chapters.

Anyone read Chapter 278 yet? Holy crap, Grimmjaw totally outsmarted Ulqiorra. I didn't see that coming. I was actually hoping Uly would completely own Grimmjaw (which he kinda did), but that whole "inter-dimensional" thing was kind of cheap. FIGHT TO THE DEATH FOR MY AMUSEMENT DAMMIT.

I'm not sure he'll be good, I'm thinking more of an anti-hero. They've definitely opened up the possibility for him to betray the rest of the espada.

I think it's much more than that. I'm sure Grimmjaw felt Ichigo go down and the thing that pissed Grimm off was that it wasn't by his hand. I think he has a superiority complex (and it probably doesn't help that he's number 6 in line) so he wants to prove himself by beating old Strawberry Head as well or better than Ulychan did.
