well no...when i saw that rose/heart thing emblem at the bottom, I thought it was pub-err yeah i couldn't look for very long

well Mr. Peacock's bankai was kinda cool, all based around of the concept of his sword being able to steal kido or was it life energy?

At least Mr. Heart man is gone=S
 
Don't think that's his bankai, probably just one of his zanpakutou's abilities.

Since, he didn't say Bankai.
 
possible, remember Ichinose from the filler with the Bounto? he said the swords full name without saying bankai but it still released a lot of energy.

Ichigo just releases his bankai without saying it lately as well
 
Saying the name is part of the shikai release. All bankai releases are just saying "Bankai."
 
Yeah, the reason he hides the ability because it doesn't use brute strength like 11th squad members are known for, instead it uses the enemies Reiatsu(sp?) against them.
 
Yea, that was just a Shikai. I was hoping for Bankai, but that'll do for now I guess. Curious to see whether Ikkaku will be forced to Bankai himself.

Too bad it won't be as awesome as the first time :(

Don't think anything in the Bleach universe could really top Ikkaku's first bankai, aside from Kenpachi achieving Shikai. Secondary non-captain character popping out a bankai at near death was just too awesome.

agreed, come to think of it Ikkaku's bankai is my favorite none of the others come close I think


although I hope Izuru has his, very interested to see what he can do
 
well Yumicha pretty much explains that I was wrong about him using bankai =X


Still I wonder if Ichigo will get any tricks like that rather than his spiritual pressure just increasing, he only knows one move so far but then again the soul society has used their blades for a long time and know the in and outs of them.
 
I'm up to episode 95, damn it takes a while. I was shifting through the manga and I'm wanting to ask, did they skip the arc with the bounts in the manga? Or should I say they added in this arc about the bounts in the anime that was excluded from the manga?
 
bount was excluded from the manga and so will the new filler that's soon to be concluded as well

It's filler. The anime picks up on the story again around episode 110. Although, the Bount filler isn't bad. Tite Kubo even had a large presence in how it was handled, which is why it doesn't seem like filler at all.
 
You'll never encounter -filler- in manga. It's used to create a gap in the manga and anime so they don't catch up until the very end. Filler takes a lot of pressure off the manga writers and gives them more time to create a better main-line story. I felt obligated to add that because there was a time when I didn't understand the concept of it either.

I wouldn't suggest skippin' the Bount filler. I personally think it's horrible but it's better to always know the full story in the long haul. I never skip filler, even the dreadful days of Naruto 1 filler.
