Bleach Thread Revived

I don't get it either, but that's typical for us. Generally speaking in the west, it goes Bleach, Naruto, and then One Piece. That said, I'm not sure where it stands anymore, given Bleach's recent path of destruction; I haven't kept up with English language manga or trends for a year or so now.

If I had to guess though, One Piece has a scope that allows it to involve anything and everything. It's quite unreal the number of unique settings, themes, characters, etc. that encompass One Piece. Now that I think about it, it really is a masterpiece. That said, still far off the top of my list.

you know, I'm really not sure what I'd place at the top of my list of manga hmm... I think maybe it would be FMA or Elfen Lied or something. I like a lot of depth with good pacing (for the most part) and well developed characters with a beginning middle and end :P

As for Bleach, it hasn't been anything great for a long time, but it's still mindless entertainment I've gotten used to keeping up with (as well as Berserk, Gantz, Assassination Classroom, Naruto, and Rin-ne)

Bleach is that manga that you routinely check every Wednesday, as you did for the past decade pretty much.

I still love Bleach. Always have and always will. I tried getting into One Piece but I got stuck at chapter 50 and I saw a mountain of chapters to get through and I just groaned. It would be such a mission to catch up.

Long-awaited appearance of the Vasto Lorde, and the obvious complication on the whole "Ichigo's Mom Is A Quincy" bit.

Seems fairly evident at this point that we're going to wind up looking at a love triangle of sorts, with Uryuu's father after Ichigo's mom, she falls for Isshin and burns out her Quincy powers to save him as well as him using the final Getsuga Tenshou, leaving them both as mortals so they can make babies and all that rot.

I'm just shocked he's actually starting to tie it all together from stuff that started getting revealed several hundred chapters ago...

That's a Vasto Lorde? O.o

And I guess that's why Uryuu's dad and Ichigo's dad are kinda like buddy/rival/whatever thing. I always figured it was cause of one being a quincy, one being a shinigami, but both respecting each other :P
 
I don't know for certain, obviously, but it seems incredibly likely.

If it is, I stand by the rest of my predictions.
 
Looks like Ichigo's mom and dad will meet for the first time next chapter :O and she'll save him. Neat! Usually it's the guy saving the girl x.x
 
Though given the appearance of Aizen it's rather likely that I was mistaken on my call for a Vastolorde. Vast Lord. Whatever.

I sure would enjoy seeing a vasto lord o.o since they gave them such praise and such earlier in the series and said they were such badasses :O

Yep. I was right in that I was wrong. /sigh

Would have been such a good time to introduce them too... And not make literally every major development in the past 100 or so years the sole work of Aizen.

Though it does turn out to be something at least relevant to the plot, and aside from that things are unfolding roughly as I expected.

Double postin cause I gotta give Kubo some credit, the bit about Zangetsu being Ichigo's Quincy powers and blocking his real power is interesting :P

I was highly disappointed. Of all the Arrancar to bring back...seriously? I don't think anyone even liked Luppi and Charlotte... I am happy to see Don Panini again though. Still mixed feelings about Cirucci.

Aye, that's been all but confirmed. You can even glimpse him in the conversation between Urahara and Ichigo before he goes with the Royal Guard.
 
I was getting sick of the Zombie stuff...until that last page. Ohhhh...ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.....
