Blind Dates

If you replace a lot of your fluids like alcohol and sodas with nothing but water, you can lose weight suprisingly fast just off of that alone.
Yeah, you can. Not only that, you can lose weight by drinking large amounts of water as well. First you'll bloat up, and then you'll lose it.

I tried that for close to two years, and didn't lose any weight, I ended up gaining a few pounds.

Honestly I've tried most diets, pills and exercise but I'm unable to lose weight. I'm diabetic which is part of it, but without going for a sleep study quite yet, I've been told I might have sleep apnea, which is the cause of many people's unexplained weight gain or unable to lose.

I don't have sympathy for people who are fat and continue to stuff their faces with terrible food and complain about being fat. I sympathise with people like myself who aren't "fat" but can't get below a "chubby" weight, regardless of the methods used. :/

depends on the type of food you eat certain times of day

ie you arent suppossed to eat food 2hrs before going to bed since it'll sit and become fat(lack of activity).

eating bread in the morning tells the body to store food. eating mostly protein and yougurt helps build and tone muscle mass...

but its been over 2yrs since i've done wrestling someone can reiterate that better

Lol, from blind dates to how I lose weight XD
interesting turn XD

what made me gain like 20 pounds like 2 years ago was eating rice and pasta and stuff like that for dinner. gladly I lost most of that gained weight again ^^

I typically eat before bed, and don't gain any weight from it. I'll have a decent sized meal anywhere from 1-4 hours before going to bed on most days.

depends on the person, you mentioned that you had a hard time gaining it and you were in the military, i'm guessing you still do a lot of physical work or still manage to consume less than 2,500 calories a day?

I know the water works because someone I went to high school with said she lost 5 pounds just from switching to water alone. But I agree that it probably doesn't work for everybody. But yeah it also flushes out fat and its not carbinated which also contributes to weight gain.

Breakfast is also important in weight control. High fiber is good for someone with diabetes as long as you eat foods with low sugars and it curves appetite. There are high fiber cerals out there that you can eat. Eggs is one of the best sources for protein so those are good to have. Just stay away from your fatty foods, like sausages and bacon.

Heres an article that better explains the importance of breakfast.

Also I hear if you do good cardio in the mornings, you burn 3x more fat than if you workout in the evenings. Plus you got to stay consistant with your workouts and not skip a lot of days. 3-5 times a week is best. Depends in your intensity level. Hopefully that will shed some light.

A 15 minute jog in the morning, 5 minutes of crunches and those side leg lift thingys (like pilates) and water has helped my girl lose 10 lbs in abuot 2 weeks. The only problem is she will get lazy and 'whoop' there it is again. You absolutely HAVE to stay on top of it or you will gain that back.

And if you want to gain weight, have alot of rough sex, like 5 times a day alot. In 3 months Ive gone from 145 to 160 with sex as my diet. Also got a six pack.

I'm diabetic so I'm well aware of dietary things. I was also involved in sports during most of my life until I got injured and weight gain only started drastically in the past 2 years, even though I've done what I could to prevent it.

I don't have transportation or I'd go to a gym and I can't "run" anymore, so my exercise has mostly been housework which can be pretty intense. During the day I only eat enough to maintain my blood sugar at a decent level, which isn't much at all. The weight gain has pretty much been a mystery and it's only fairly recently that could be causing it is sleep apnea. My sleeping patterns have always been pretty odd and I'm rarely rested. A friend of mine had suggested it after being on a 3 week trip with me.

Sleep apnea is actually a lot more common than I thought and it's been behind a lot of people's weight gain, so I just need to go get watched overnight and we'll see.

maybe you should talk to a nutritionist who could maybe help you with a meal plan?

Idk.

There is this girl at my work who was skinny as hell when she first started, then she developed a thyroid problem and they put her on steroids and she blew up like a balloon. She's been trying like hell to lose it but can't.
