Blm, Is it for real, or just nuking?

All BLM is good for is Nuking. They can't melee, they die in like 5 hits from anything EM, 1 to 2 hits from IT. They get no good Armor, or Weapons, and if you play as Elvaan then they look gay as hell when they cast. Yeah just nuking.

For starters you are probably talking about Elvaan's casting a WHM spell not a BLM one. Who melees when you can solo VT's? No good armor? Have you seen Igqira Weskit? Considering I'm Elvaan I'm always complemented on how my armor looks, I've even received many "I never seen that armor before". Plenty of Tarus have the same armor as me, you just can't see it unless you take the time to really look at them!

In the end it's about looking pimp! All races > Taru :wink:

Thats a lie, i'm a taru blm and i can take at least 3 and still not die, and thats with my health being at 470 the start for my sorcerer's ring! Earth staff and def of 240 at lvl 61 i can handle my own.
I evaide a lot of hits also And if i'm getting hit more then that there's something wrong with my tank, which i dont run into that problem.

How many hits can a DRK or DRG take? yeah that's what i thought. Dont talk on a subject you dont know about. if you play smart you can handle takeing hate on a IT mob even as blm.

when I was working on ZM I compaired my def. with that of a drk... without berserk or anything and I had more... plus earth staff and buffs :roll:
oh and evasion was the first skill I capped at lvl 75

I beat a lvl 75 elvaan mnk who had a poison pot and hp boost in a 1v1 battle only using an ether myself :roll:
(we both started with full hp/mp no tp and I started with buffs)

VT for blm = {too weak} (well as long as it's sleepable and not super strong to magic)

we have but one downside... no mp makes us useless as hell

oh ya and we suck against a few mobs who come with magic shields

I also hate how elvaan look when they cast, sorry guys {/comfort}

I've seen a DRK get 1 hitted in the tree by a spider. BTW as a 53 WHM I have more defense than some THFs and DRKs...so don't tell me I can't melee.

My blm is only level 12. But I could really do with it getting to level 20. However I can seek at prime NA pt times and wait all night (UK time) and not get one invite. I'm currently putting a few jobs through the dunes and it's making me want to take a month or so off the game again.

No. I mean they look gay as hell when they cast BLM spells. WHM spells I will add to that though. I will go as far as to say that I think people who play male Elvaan are secretly homosexual and stare at their avatars ass all night long as they play, while they jerk it to Depeche Mode.
