Ok Ill be non newbish with it Bed. I agree that once whm or rdm see yellow hp @75% and such they will cure me. Control over the ring will be nice once I get there.

I actually got rid of one of my snow's quite recently. I found that I very very rarely used it. I normally have sorcerer's in one slot and snow in the other. I use equip macros to get latent on the sorcerer's and am pretty much used to having it in action.

im a 75 blm and trust me that zeo is right. i use a snow ring and sorcerers ring. i have no use for 2 snow rings ever. i macro 75%percent hp and nuke like crazy the 10 MAB is way better then any 5 int. im also an elvann blm and with my set up can out do many blm. so go and get yourself a sorcerer's ring and get some -hp equip its more than worth the cost of all the equip.

The yellow hp thing is a fallacy. You don't actually need yellow hp to get latent. If I can find a link for the real gen on getting latent I will...
..sadly the link has been deleted from the forum I got it from. It is possible to get latent without going yellow. This allows you 20-30 hp more and means you ned less -hp gear.
(as soon as I find the details I'll post)
Also ..yellow hp is hard to resist healing if you are a healer. I find that not getting yellow and still getting latent avoids this problem 99%

I use Tamas + Snow, I'd get a sorcerer's, but I just don't see the need. I rarely play as BLM, so using a ring that I'd use for maybe 2 hours every month would be a waste xD

If I had room for an additional 7 pieces of gear I would go for the Sorc Ring setup. But I'm basically packed to the brim as is. Maybe I should end-up doing this.

Tamas + Sorcerer. I have a Snow around someplace for the occasions in which I find myself /WHM, which is usually........hmmmmm.......wait.......wonder where that Snow went. Sorcer's is about as useful as male nipples if you normally roll /WHM.
Zeo is correct, your HP needn't (<-----never spelled that before. Is it a real word?) be yellow. Mine sits at a nice white 693. I remember growing up when Jinsh, Uliwela and Zeo would burn with me all their hp was yellow and they practically had to macro "Don't heal me."
OP still hasn't divulged his/her race. Taru? Hume? lolgalkablm? Toss out some info, and I'm sure we can find the exact list of shit you need.

I have also found that the sorcerer's latent work well on Excavation duty assault. Usually get 10 on Thunder I and sometimes 11. Without latent it's 9 per cast (dmg)
I'm planning on taking blm into endgame again sometime. Just can't face the 2am > 6am time slot most farm/gods take place.

#1 I don't care about my blm that much anymore
#2 Snow rings are very low on my gil efficiency meter (get very little damage out of 2 INT and would be better off getting a few other upgrades first)
#3 I'd rather spend my gil on my drg (yes I know most people hate drgs)
#4 yes I know I'm gimp, if I had all the gil I wanted I would have at least one snow ring (prolly do sorc+snow)
