Movie Blood the Last Vampire (2009)

I checked this out over the weekend and I must say I enjoyed the action. I liked this remake of the anime film it was based off of but around a quarter of the movie you can tell its not going to stay true to the anime. I thought it was great besides the ending.

It was only released in limited theaters but you might be able to find a screening near you using moviefone.com

I thought the movie was good, but could of been alot better. The entire story felt rushed and most of the time when they built something up, they never played on it. (Such as the demon with the scarred eye.) It's definitly one of the better anime to movie adaptations I've seen, but then that's not saying a whole lot.

Hopefully people will still be able to find the movie if they want to see it in theaters.

I enjoyed the anime series so I thought I'd give this a try. Looked better than dragonball. After not seeing a listing in my local theaters I went to the official site and looked at the theaters that were showing it. Maybe a dozen theaters across the US. Kinda sad. I wonder why its so limited? Oh well.
