It just occured to me, but has anyone tried to SA bludgeon in mid-battle while soloing? Seems to me that you'd be able to do Headbutt, then run around and SA bludgeon for additional damage... That is if head butt sticks long enough. Any takers on this theory? Id love to hear results. If this works, /thf may be a new solo sub for blu.

the damage isnt all what im concerned about, its attempting to pull off a SA mid-battle with you as the main target of the mob.
I was just wondering if anyone has tried to pull this off while soloing. Ive done drk/nin and slept a mob and recast utsu, but since sheep song takes forever, i was going to see if a stun could take place of it in order to SA it. Ill test it when i get a lv and post my results

You won't pull anything fancy with this solo, but in a party I was ripping hate off the tank everytime I opened the skillchain. I was pumping out 350+ Mandibular Bites on bats and beetles. Average, 380 on a beetle below 100 TP, and over 400 with 100....400 on bats, and 450+ with 100 TP or more.
Anyone bashing this combo is an idiot. It works quite well. SA Mandibular Bite to Jet Stream for impaction, dual burst Blitzstrahl(sp) for 260+ damage...It's extremely powerful.

only way I can think of to pull this off while solo is to use Head Butt with Chain Affinity when you have 100% or more TP so that the stun lasts longer.
Although why use it in the middle? Would be easier to just use it at the start =/
