According to Joystiq, you can download the Blue Dragon demo and enjoy the work of our beloved Final Fantasy alumni. I think it's supposed to have about two hours of gameplay, but I can't tell you because I'm stuck at work right now.

I wanna go home...

Thank you man, i love you. Going to play.

When I get home from work it will be mine!

Dont think its up yet, maybe later today. I do see it on xbox.com as demo. But its not in marketplace yet. Acecombat6 is now tho.

You may want to see if there's a special section for "Bringing it Home" content. It may be there. I'd check it myself... but I'm nowhere near my Xbox. I've been reading comments from people who've downloaded the demo, so it must be somewhere.

I'd also read that it's only going to be available for download two or three weeks. That's the sort of thing I'd leave up for when the game actually comes out and people are trying to make up their minds, but they don't listen to me.

Dude there is an option for a bring it home type of thing in game demos, but it doesnt work for me. Links me to Acecombat demo, which already has a section labeled.. well duh ace combat.. maybe its not up properly yet.

I saw on a message board that the demo was up and then got taken down and then was up again. Some people are complaining about the framerate, so it seems there's some bugs they're trying to correct.

This blows.

Ah i got it!! Its great man lol.

Yeah, I finally downloaded it and started playing through the first part. The battle pacing feels a little on the slow side so far, but I think that'll improve once the full game is out and I've learned how to speed things up.

I'm not wild about the character designs -- I've always thought Dragon Ball Z looks like complete ass -- but I can get used to them.

Still, it looks like it could be a solid little RPG to go with Eternal Sonata when the time comes.

I played Trusty Bell (Eternal Sonata) in my friends place and yes I loved it.
I didn't quite like Blue Dragon though... To me it seems a little plain. Well that's my opinion.
I pre-order Eternal Sonata for the faceplate lol... And i don't even have an Xbox360......
The faceplate is wicked

Played eternal Sonata yesterday and it was great. Bluedragon i love so far. The speed of battle is controled by you, you can hit very fast if you want for lower dmg or charge almost everything for higher dmg and longer delay. Get to the boss battle and see the limit moves. Man they are freakin sweet lol. This game is very cool imo so far.

Wow, this game is incredible. I love it! I made a BLM/WHM shadow and emulated the abilities of the job. I even got auto-refresh/regen (while walking). Theres double attack for the melees and a lot of abilities to mold your shadow to whatever you feel like. win!

Oh man, I'm goin' to be so worthless when this game hits shelves. Hopefully by then I'll have already finished the .Hack//G.U. series, Digital Devil Saga 2, and Persona 3... I don't want to get sidetracked but hot damn I may.

I found the dragon shadow giving a thumbs up at the end of battles to be the most dorky thing ever.

I was a little underwhelmed in the "fun factor" department to be honest.

I am sure having a timer counting down fed into that, combined with being thrown into the game at level 23, not being quite comfortable with all the spell names, meditations, elemental weaknesses, how much to charge, how much charging an attack delays you, etc. It looks cool. I wish you could skip some of the animations of the shadow dragon attacks (think summons animations in FFVII - once you've seen them sometimes you just want to get back to the action). The battle music really wasn't doing it for me either.

Hopefully once I spend a little more time with the demo, get more comfortable with the controls, I'll fall in love with it. I kind of just wish the demo started you at level 1 and allowed you to play up to the first boss battle or something. Well I've only played through the first dungeon so maybe the second dungeon will be fantastic.

i downloaded it and i wast impressed, I recongnized the the animation style as DBZ-ish, bit other than the pirate girl, none of them was very intresting and made me say wow that character looks cool.

The Didnt like being thrown into the story with out any idea of whats going on either. Id rather it be like FF7s demo where you start at the very begining and advance from there.

Anotehr thing that kinda pushed me away was the voice overs and the boss music.. the voices just didnt seem to fit my personal style and seemed poorly done, and the boss music sounded like rock track with a cat howling at the moon for the vocals... and who the hell puts vocals in a normal boss fight?

Load times were also a detering factor for me. feild map and battle switching dint really seem to flow smoothly.

This is just my opinion of the 45 minuts i played of the game

The Ace combat 6 demo was fun for me though :D and hell yeah Golden axe!

It's my understanding that the final release will have the option of using the original Japanese dialogue with English subtitles, but I'm not 100% about it.

Yea, I have to live with that too. But Zola's bat looks awesome and the battle music really pumps me up while playing.

It's Iron Maidenish ^^

Definitely doesn't live up to a FF title, but I only played it for about 20 mins or so since I wanted to get into FFXI instead to do something else. It's different though and seems like it could be some fun. Maybe I should go watch the rest of the anime episodes first before I get this game, or no?
