Really wow so blu will not lv fast as if u lv to fast u miss some good stuff then, nice Se doing some good things

got a question if u sj blu can u learn spells for it?

I would imagine that you cannot learn spells with BLU subbed, but could use them normally. I'm curious as to what was said earlier about being within the 5 level range, if that goes both ways. I would assume not, because if it did, you could severely gimp yourself by not being able to go back and get spells that you may have missed, and as we all know, this is no Diablo II, where characters are more or less disposable if you screw up. Blazn, I really dont think that you must be within five levels at all times, but rather, must be within 5 levels of being -able- to use the spell. For instance, if you miss say, Sandspin from a worm at the early levels, I'm pretty sure you could come back later on and still learn it. If you could not, BLU would be pretty fucking hard. I could be wrong alas, as I have not played the game in a long time, and have not experimented with this new stuff yet. Perhaps someone can tell me if I am right or wrong in my assumptions?

i did not start thing about 5 lv thingy lol i got no idea on these new jobs not going to look into them till x mas time lol as then all the noobs of that job be gone

As far as I know......you can always go back and get the ability as long as you can get exp from the mob. When you set a new spell, you cant use any of your spells temporarily. It takes like.....one minute, which isnt bad. When you change your job, then change back to BLU, you have to reset all your spells, no biggie.

Alot of spells have stats on them, so when have them set, you get the benefit. Like, I have a few spells set that have +1 MND, so.....my MND is lookin pretty gewd right now ;)

It seems /WHM has been the way to go in exp ptys. Solo from lvl 1 - whenever you start pty'ing, for me I've been doing /WAR. Just try to learn Pollen as soon as you can. It'll make life a whole lot easier.

Once you get over the frustration of getting spells, this job is REALLY fun. I mean.....shoot....you can beat FREE SPELLS. You know what I mean?

The physical spells are based off the current accuracy and I assume attack as your current weapon your weilding.

Another great thing about BLU. There is only ONE skill to skill up. Blue Magic. Thats IT!! Any blue magic spell increases your skill.

Oh, and to add on the last few posts I read, you can only learn new spells with BLU as your main. You can still use blue magic as a sub, you just cant learn new magic. If I were to go THF37/BLU07, then the physical spells would still be based off my weapon skill as a THF, so it would still do some decent dmg, your just gimped in Blue Magic skill.

Oh, and yes....SATA stacks with physical spells....at least, some from what i've seen.

well, I'll let you in on a little secret. Blue Magic stacks with Sneak Attack <.<; so I assume it stacks with Warcry and other abilities too.

/runaway

I revealed too much already >.<

I cannot wait to try this out, it sounds like a ton of fun. Of course, I'm already thinking about more of a melee setup. I have heard that a BLU's melee equipment is very similar to a DRG's. If so, that's not too bad, considering that a BLU's spells also add stat bonuses. My only concern is the lack of attack gear available if this is the case. Can anyone confirm the gear available by a BLU post 55?
