Not accusing... Just wondering how a thf/war can see a NM across a room at a spot that is normally too far to see in-game. But he ran straight to it and claimed it.

Does the nm have some predictable placeholder he might know the logic for? I had a friend who was pretty uncanny about working Mee Deggi in Oztroja. I dunno. I've never been very good at camping myself.
 
Don't know the guy, but you -are- passively accusing him of hacking, even though you claim you're not.

Crying HAXX just because he's good, or has more knowledge than you about an NM, is just plain stupid.

but tarus have super hearing. He might have heard him from miles away. They developed their super-hearing from being hunted by Goobbues for so long. You know that pic of Goobbues eating Mandragora? Yeah, those are tarus with guide hats on.

Tarus aggro to true sound, Elvaans to true sight. Sadly, the only thing they're capable of seeing are galkas. The others are below their vision =( And everyone knows an elvaan is too stupid to look down, hence why we always bend out neck to the side in that oh-so uncomfortable way.
 
Bolteux means Nuker in french, the guy is from Quebec like me, and I've played with him. We also shared the same sky linkshell for a while (SA).
I've never seen him hack or whatsoever.

lol, If you look, I was asking a question. I was talking like it could be possible.

Also, KNOWING where the NM is without even working to get it or looking around ISNT being "good." Its two things, either luck or hacks. Saying someone is good at the game because they know a NM is on the other side of the room where he ISNT, and when the NM is beyond the clipping range is "just plain stupid"

Sarcasm, passively indicating you believe he hacks.

Perhaps the NM has two placeholders that spawn in two defined areas, he knew spawn time, so he flees, checks first spot, and runs straight to the 2nd spot and claimed. No hacking involved, but to the one who would rather assuming hacking instead of skill, it might look like he does.

No, I saw everything that happened. He didnt move. He was standing in one spot the entire time. Not doing anything. No skill involved. "But to the one that would blindly defend someone just to prove the OP wrong, it would look like skill" I also like how you try to play your words lol, creative.
 
If you are genuinely curious, then I prefer you ask questions like this in your linkshell - and not on a forum for everyone to see.

I like how you ask a stupid question and accuse someone of cheating in the same sentence. You bring no proof to the table. Bolteux is a damn good player that I've had the fortune to exp with several occasions - more notably on thief.

Just like Shyrra has said, perhaps, just like camping any other NM - keeping track of ToDs on your PH's can do wonders to make it appear, magical~~~.

Come back when you see him teleport to the NM.
 
Could always sub RNG and Widescan it.

I actually quite enjoy RNG sub. Can also do /ja "Provoke" <scan> (or something similar) to automatically provoke the last mob you scanned. It also points with an arrow on your compass towards the last mob you scanned.

lol, maybe because no one in my LS knows him? The boards offer more of a wide rang of people to know him.

But, wtf is wrong with you people. I ask a question, PLAINLY say I wasnt accusing him, and give SEVERAL occurences. But two people have already been offended/blew their rag because I asked a simple question about someone thats their friend.

It is a YES or a NO question. I dont need "scathing reviews" but they do really show how much of an incoherent ass you people are.

Damn, grow the fuck up. Over half of you are older than me, but youre all constantly PMS'ing. Fuck.

Yes, indeed. Its quite nifty.

Can do /ranged <scan>, /ja "Provoke <scan>, /ma "dia" <scan> or something similar.

First off, I don't even know the guy. My problem is that you claim to "PLAINLY" say you're not accusing him, but clearly you indicate that you believe he is a hacker, by sarcastically "/clap"ing, and saying he couldn't have seen it, he just ran right to it and claimed.
