I fought this NM (Bombshell) earlier in the Lhusu mines on the diagonal bridge past Gate 11. I heard he is supposed to drop the Yagyu Darkblade which is the strongest ninja sword, but he didn't drop it that time. Does anyone know how to get him to pop? I read something about zoning in and out over and over but that didn't seem to work.
 
chances are you have to go 2 zones over and then come back and do that over and over.. or kill things.. I dunno.. it's random usually
 
Go back two zones, Jimm, to give him the ability to pop again... then go to the zone where he's at, zone in and out for one or two minutes, and he's pretty much guaranteed to be there. Let me know if this is unclear.

hah, I had problem with that one too until I realized..... there are a couple portions to phase 1 dig in hennes mine, so make sure you explore all phase 1 areas as I spent a long time continuously clearing the same area not realizing it
 
I did find one ihdden part but ya.. stupid thing wasn't there.. was there another hidden part?
 
Did you talk to the npc in the mines? by the save chrystal? man, I remember I had problems but now I can't remember what I did to find it. try the other 2 areas that branch off from the first door you open. From the first color change door as you enter the mines I believe he spawns in one of the rooms that you can access after flip the switch and 10 or so jelly's drop down. My memory is foggy but I'm pretty sure it isn't in the western site 1 dig but eastern passage or southern passage from the first switch room.

Edit: oh oh, I got a save with that hunt still active

Edit 2: Found him, in the absolute northern portion of the phase 1 dig map. there is a little room, just zone in from the phase 1 shaft and follow the west wall all the way around til you get to him, will pass like 1 or 2 unicorn thingies. if he isn't there try zoning out to Ozmone plain in case this thing is weather dependent then back in and make sure to double check in your clan primer just to make sure you confirmed the hunt incase nothing else worked. I also talked to the npc in the save room prior to attempting it.

I'll go look for it more once I'm done killing Roblin.. this wouldn'tb e so bad even with the skeletons if Ashe wasnt' too retarded to get decoy to land on herself -_- I'm up to 25 casts in a row now and still missing :\
 
HA! finally found it! :P I don't know what I did differently.. other than just running straight to where I was told it was and not fighting anything.. hehe.. or.. was it cause I kept to the right.. hmm.. *shrugs*
 
Thanks for the info guys. This is such a pain to do. The fight itself is kinda rough since he can 1-shot my mages. Think I'll try again when I'm higher than 47...

If my memory serves me well, I think you can also steal it off of him. It's just as a rare of a chance as getting the drop though. Same goes with Poach.
