Bonafide account buyer.

None of this had to do with Rikuku dont involve her please. thank you

Rikuku is passions Girlfriend is she not?

That's what it had to do with her. As I'm sure she had access to the account as well.

2) How would you like it if you bought a used car from a dealership, and the owner tried to get you to give it back?

Selling used cars isn't illegal.

3) WSM gets bashed more than anyone on this board, I don't see you lighting a candle for him. They both put themselves on the spot, WSM doesn't care Passions bitched up and ran.

Sorry to have to tell ya this, but you don't see me defending WSM because you haven't looked. I actually have defended WSM on several occasions. WSM is a great war, he communicates well(in-game) to people that don't speak his Language. He's a good puller, and Great at ending the skillchain perfectly everytime. I particularly notice that last one as I was the Blm MB on his skillchains. He also doesn't rattle on and on, using only "lol" to end sentances like he does here. I'd almost say it's 2 different people.

just thought I'd add that.

I was kind of pointing at the qcdn community on that one. Passions got the same treatment WSM gets X10, and he folded like a chair.

the Flameboard chews people up, passions was one of them, if/when the new tittimonga decides to get on here, I'm sure he'll be greeted in a similar way.

And I doubt selling accounts (the way they phrase it) is illegal or they wouldn't be able to pull it off so out in the open the way they do. If it was so illegal you wouldn't see it going on.

Ya, the fat kid had just told QCDN his alchy mom put $1000 on her credit card to pay for all her gear.

Neither is buying or selling accounts. It maybe against the TOS, but it's not against the law.

Point is, IGE bought the account from someone they had reason to believe was the legitimate account holder. IGE sold it to the girl, who then too had no reason to believe anything was wrong. Under these circumstances I don't fault her for not wanting to discuss this in game on elsewhere. If I were her I would keep my mouth shut about the whole thing not saying a word one way or another to anyone.

I do feel for passions, but his beef ought to be with SE and IGE, not the girl. First and foremost with SE really. If he has the original keys, and his was the previous billing info, and SE doesn't support account sales, then a change in billing to a different dude ought to set of red lights.

Alas, SE is only interested in subscribers, not so much in whether the one paying is actually the original owner.

Not necessarily. I'm not saying he sold his acct or it got stolen. Doesn't really matter to me... the thing is the change in billing info shouldn't always send a red light... if it did, then when my husband changed billing info (different names and addresses) on his acct then there should have been a warning light going off at SE. In Passions case I can see how a red light should have went off, but SE could have just assumed that the acct belonged to the same person, and that Passions could have just gained access to the keys some how. Like I said, I don't really care what happened one way or the other, just wanting to say acct info can change completely and not affect an acct.

Anyone think it is weird that around the same time Passions stopped posting here, Tittimonga (or wtf ever the name is) started posting?...Perhaps it IS Passions using the character name whether he sold Tittimonga or it got stolen or whatever. Maybe he just wanted to see the drama created when this character name was used as if it was the person who bought the account. If that made any sense, then I'm not a complete failure.

But ya, I don't really know what happened with the whole account hacking/stealing situation. I just feel like we weren't getting the whole story. And no sooner then Passions stops visiting QCDN, his old character joins...

Chaos is actually was a character on quezalcoat it is Wildkitty's brother which he no longer plays but it wasnt passions posing . And the one that plays tittimonga is chaos's sister the one that plays wildkitty is the twin sis or vice versa , both very nice girls and he was too .

This whole thing does not make sense too me the way people point that he sold the account and bought a new better one. Account got stolen then the guy gets handed a better account by IGE too smooth things over. Pretty nice of IGE too do that. That seems too make more sense. I don't know what really happened when Tittimonga got stolen and neither does anyone else posting here except the people involved. Is Passions a good player? Does that matter? Shit happens and it can happen too anyone. None of us knows the full story and we are not going too. Its pointless too try and figure it out.

I agree with what Firestreak posted. Why would someone sell a character that is in the early too mid 60's that proably had alot of work put into it. Healing magic and Enhanceing magic assumeingly capped. Divine Magic and Enfeebling pretty high as well. I really don't know but from what I read of Passions' posts, he sounded pretty hard cored. Then buy a shitty level 75 whm that does not have a fully leveled blm sub. Enhanceing no where near capped. Healing might have but I do not remember. And not too mention no trade skills leveled. I know this cause I read Istar's profile that someone posted here in general disscusions asking if anyone knew who that was. Anyone remember all that? Anyone read that thread of how people cut that character down for its lack of skills? I remember reading it.

It makes no sense of someone letting go of a good level 60ish whm that proably had some really good time invested into it for a level 75 whm that needs alot of work. Enhanceing magic is a bitch too level. If I was Tittimonga and Passions tried too trade me Istar for that character, I would be like hell no.

I found that old thread I was talking about, http://www.qcdn.org/showthread.php?t=19027. I know I am proably going too get ripped too peices but all the above is whats going through my head. It just does not make sense too me giveing up a level 60ish whm for that. Not cutting down the person that played Istar but that character does need alot of work.

He sold account, got sellers remorse. Made up a story about what happened, saying they stole it. Why would a company making millions of dollars be petty and steal an account? LATER on he gets istar. He says they gave it, I think he bought it.

I think he is upset he sold his original character and had to buy back a shittier version of it. I dont think he traded, and the timeline of him losing one and getting the other show it wasn't a trade. It would be a dumb trade and everyone sees that.

If the account was a stolen account, I would assume IGE would go after the seller and recoup their losses.

Saying its dumb to trade for an equal/lesser character doesn't apply to this situation as there was no swapping done in short enough time span. It played itself out over a few months.

I was helping some friends with G2 recently and Chaos and Tittimonga were in the party. I questioned openly in party and Tittimonga did not reply, others were interested too, but we began fighting the boreals and not much was said after that. Chaos did mention something about his sister's character was coming to help though thats when tittimonga came. Seemed somewhat educated about party tactics.

Your right, that does not make sense. But according too Passions, someone used some hack or something and stole his password. Then sold it too IGE. I can't see IGE stealing accounts the same as you but someone stealing it makes more sense. Also we all know that IGE is not going too pay you much for your character, why sell unless you plan too walk away from the game for good and want some money back.

Selling a character that you may have second thoughts about would take alot of time too sort out if you want too do this or not. I would sell one of the other characters that I proably would not mind too much looseing. Like maybe a thf or melee. Not a whm that could come raise you or power level you.

Yeah but that would be a waste of time on their part. The seller would not give the money back. And IGE proaby figures it would be a waste of time too take any legal action. It would cost more money taking the guy too court. So too try and look professioanl they gave Passions a product of equal or greater value. They are a gill selling company and can't afford any bad finger pointing.

It just does not make any sense man. You got some pretty good points but this stuff comes too my mind when I think about it.

Passions said he had 7 accounts active before, then it got cut down to 3. Perhaps he was cutting down to 2 and decided to let Titti go. He also said he had thought of selling the account. I think he did it and got sellers remorse.

But didn't passions say he wanted the best skill up party? thats why he had the whm char and seemed rather pissed about losing it. Just a thought

This whole seller's remorse theory is weak. Just look at IGE. See how much they'll pay you for gil and compare it to how much they sell it for. Of course IGE itself didn't steal the account. But then, IGE itself doesn't farm gil. There aren't IGE employees all throughout the server. They simply buy and sell. I doubt they ask too many questions. It seems obvious to me someone else had access to his account, or someone who had in the past had access new some sort of financial information required to get the password retrieved. As stated recently in this thread, his PoL ID was known at least in November. Now you can change your password but you can't change your ID. Of all the possible explanations, this is the only one that makes sense to me.
