Boot camp turns Tarutarus into Galkas. On a serious note I have a friend that is 2 years out of boot camp. He went from an overwieght, lazy, momma's boy to a clean, fit, man. He told me overall the days were hard, ya obviously, but he enjoyed it and got something priceless out of it, a boat load of pride and friends, brothers. Now 2 years into the Navy he has schooled/worked from Chicago to New York and in three weeks is being sent to Japan for 2 years to finish off some schooling. Sounds really great. All the work seems worth it in the long run. Good luck and I hope you enjoy it as much as my buddy.

Good to know they don't let any of those darned women into bootcamps.

Brothers? Sounds creepy to me.

I'm not telling you to impress you. You're an idiot if you're going into the military to "impress" someone.

I'm not a conceited bastard. I'm just letting those who even remotely know me, those who I haven't told, or those I have, know when I'm leaving.

And yes, it's by my choice, and for good reasons, too.

What he ment by this was close friends you can trust and rely on for anything and everything. Where we are from these people are more than friends they are bros. They are also far and few in between. He never mentioned any women at his camp and I'm 100% sure he's not Gay 8)

Waaaaaaaay ahead of you. XD

I started back in August, giving myself 3 months to get used to it.

Now if I can only get into a sleeping pattern where I don't wake up at 3 p.m....

All I can say is welcome to Chicago. Please enjoy all of our 4 seasons, often in the same day, and our -20º winters with a shit load of snow.
