Does anyone think they can win the championship losing all their games on the road?

PS: Where the hell is Ray Allen?

Though I'm not much of an NBA watcher usually, I have been compelled by not only the Celtics, but most of the playoff teams in general (especially in the 2nd round) not being able to play on the road. In basketball, momentum changes so rapidly it doesn't seem like the crowd noise/atmosphere would be as much of a factor as it would be in Football or Hockey.

It's not the noise at all, like it is in football, but the atmosphere in a packed house in basketball is every bit as intense an atmosphere as those two sports. Being a Celtics fan, I say they're gonna need to win a road game against Detroit... They've been outstanding at home in the playoffs, but it's just too damn silly to plan on going 16-0 at home and 12-0 on the road to win a championship lol... hopefully they can steal one in detroit in game 3 or 4 and make it a 5 game series.

I hope theyll come around, if not theyre going to be hounded the entire summer. If Ray Allen continues to be a nonfactor they dont stand a chance

You guys do realise that it's an epidemic in the playoffs right? There've been next to no away games won this year compared to other years. Also, look at the Celtics' away game wins in the regular season. They just need to get their asses in gear, and they'll win.

Your right, and im not shocked it went to 7 games with the Cavs. But do YOU realize they needed 7 games to beat the 8th seeded Atlanta hawks, who barely made the playoffs in the weak eastern conference and had more lossess than wins.

They got over-confident, it happens in every sport. It's like when you played Tampa Bay (years previous, they're actually kinda good now) or Kansas City in baseball, you don't try your hardest. Mixed in with the fact that the foul ratio at home in the first playoff round was like, 1:3 (home team:away team)
