Bottom Feeders - Ten Most Hated Movies

Batman and Robin has a Rifftrax out now. ... I hate having a reason to buy this piece of crap, maybe I'll just rent it though.

I love RiffTrax (next up is The Matrix Reloaded), but the downside is that my DVD shelves have shit like Road House and Battlefield Earth on them.

I'd never seen Batman & Robin, so I tried to buy a copy Saturday while I was at the mall. I was at the register when a squirrel climbed into the transformer and knocked out electricity in half the mall... including the music store.

"If I were a religious man," I told Neyla on the way out, "I'd think God was trying to prevent me from buying Batman & Robin."

I went back Monday to complete my purchase and watched it that evening. What a glittering shit sandwich that turned out to be. That first battle may as well have been called "Batman on Ice." Skates? Really? /sigh

As for Napoleon Dynamite, the reason I hate it is the glacial pace. It's the slowest fucking movie I've ever seen. As much as I bitch about movies that assume we all have Attention Deficit Disorder, this one could've used a better editor to punch it up a bit. It was one of the most agonizing experiences I've ever had with a movie, and I finally had to shut it off.

The only 2 movies I ever walked out on at the theatre:

Fargo and Coneheads

Coneheads! it's a classic, not the best but it isn't that bad in my book. I mean, I would never buy it.

I actually couldn't find Batman and Robin when I went out today. The cool thing about this Riff is it's completely fan made. It looks interesting.

I went to the theater and saw Batman and Robin when it first came out, didn't walk out on it, but I wanted too. The best scene is when Arnold is dancing to that song from The Christmas that Almost Wasn't. That was the only part that sorta entertained me, lol.

"I'm Mr. White Christmas, I'm Mr. Snow!"

That was the only part I liked about that movie. The look on his henchmen's faces when he's forcing them to sing cracks me up.

I got a pretty huge laugh when Batman & Robin were standing on a mound of rusting metal and Robin said "Holy, rusty metal Batman!" :D Just a nice nod to the original television show. Other than that the movie was crap.

The rusted metal thing was in Batman Forever, I believe.

The fan-written riff for Batman & Robin got a little thin on the jokes near the end, to the point where there were a few times I had to check my MP3 player to make sure it was still turned on. There were still a lot of good jokes in there, though.

Two movies I really hated, that I (attempted) to leave both behind.

"Robin Hood Men in Tights". I walked out on this movie it was so bad, maybe Mel brooks amused me once but not that day.

"The Blair Witch Project". This movie ended suddenly as I was about to walk out on it, never seen such a retarded episode of dude's lost in the woods. I exclaimed quite loudly in the theather "And thats it!?"

There's that great top ten favorites thread, but c'mon... it's so much more fun to shred the movies you despise. So what are your ten least favorite movies? There are plenty of bad movies out there -- it's easy to go after pure shit like Plan 9 From Outer Space -- so you may have to be more creative and go for the ones that gave you a real headache or forced you to walk out of a theater hoping to get your money back.

10 - Adam Sandler. Pretty much anything he's been in.

What about Punch Drunk Love?
