Ok before people start dropping "NO THEY DONT SELL IT FOR PS3" lines. I know they do not my question is can I buy the ps2 version and get it workin on the ps3? im sure this question was answered a while ago but i just bought my ps3 and hdtv today. help me out

Thanks

Yes, you can. Your PS3 just needs to have the update to install PS2 games on the HDD. It will then let you install the PS2 version on it. It doesn't upscale the graphics at all though, so you will be stuck with the crappy visuals. I hope you are sure you are able to secure all the expansions though since they are really hard to find nowadays for the PS2.

Quick question while the topic is fairly recent, is there a specific patch needed to play on the PS3, or is it just part of one of the past firmware updates?

Just wondering because, while I don't have broadband access, DW: Gundam updated the firmware to 1.32, I think it was, before letting me play so I was curious if I already had what was needed.

Warning, it will look horrible. So I recomend setting your upscaling settings on the PS3 first. ^^
