Boyahda vs. Kuftal... (BST)

Just wondering if I could get feedback on which would be better to XP at as a 61BST. Boyahda has Deathcaps and Spiders to use as pets or XP on (60-63), but Spiders are farmed constantly and Deathcaps are a bit of a pain to fight.

Kuftal has Robber Crabs (60-64 I think), which means higher mobs to XP off of and such, but not many safe spots that don't have XP parties ;.; These also might be sortof longer fights due to their def, not entirely sure...

If anyone has feedback or a better idea of where to XP at 61, please lemme know, thanks. ^^
 
Uleguerand Range was where I got my 62, as well as bit the bullet to 63.

Pets: Variable Hares (58-61)
Targets: Snolls (60-63)

Attacks:
- Berserk
- Hypothermic Combustion (Self-destruct)
- ??? (AoE Frost for -10HP per tick)
- ??? (Single target attack)

Having twice the number of TP moves means they're half as likely to kill themselves over your pet, so fights might require 1-2 pet swaps. Biggest threath remains the Uleguerand Tigers roaming the area, which are resistant to Charm. Having a few juices handy in case of being hit by Frost can be a lifesaver.

So basically, you have to be an "Invisible Ninja" to survive that place. Remember that you lose the Invisible status when charming mobs or heeling them (which most likely won't be necessary), but sending a pet to attack a mob won't reveal you to the roaming tigers.
 
Yeah, uleguerand range is the place to be. I think I only stayed in boyadha tree maybe one level.
 
I agree with the Uleguerand Range bit. It's nice and safe with little or no competition.

Other than that though, the Tree is going to be a lot better than Kuftal. I tried Kuftal and just couldn't find a good safe camp. And although spiders are farmed heavily, you can still claim them. Plus, you can use Death Caps against the Robber Crabs. Dark Spore or Silence Gas will almost always hit a crab for over 500 dmg.
 
Definatly Uleguerand Range FTW.

There’s a little safe area right before the cave tunnel at H-11 pre-equipped with 2 bunnies.

I did like the tree though. If you’re not blinded by the walking eight legged gil holders the Death Caps make the greatest pets. In a duo you could basically make a death path threw the tunnels for quick non-stop xp.
 
Uleg Range, definately. Slow at 61 but not many people other than 75's there for the most part.
 
i don't know why you guys humping ugly range.

funguar > spider is the best. make mad bucks while lvling and not risky at all.
i don't think i did range after 60, since making money in tree was so much better than getting blown up in shitty ice land.
 
I suggest Ulegrand range, however, Kuftal can be a great alternative:

In kuftal, near the zone to CT, there's a small area where robber crabs spawn. Clear out the inital crab spawns (there's only two, so it's easy to charm one, fight the other, and have it clear) and you'll have a nice little platform to stand upon while you fight. You can pull crabs from either side of the camp, though one side has more than others.

The only real danger of this camp is if a crab spawns on top of you, but it's easy enough to either pull the fight back to a place where there isn't a crab, or to release and charm the crab if it attacks you.

To get to this camp, from the CT zone:

Follow the tunnel away from the CT zone until you get to the stair like area, then take an immediate left around a sharp bend, that little area there will be where you fight.

Kuftal at one point might have been an option once... been there recently? every mindless moron who can't think of anywhere different to level their npc or skill up goes to kuftal. I've noticed there are 7-20 people leveling npc's or skilling up on crabs at any point. Ulegeurand range ^^d
 
I suppose I'll have to trust you on that one, I don't play the game anymore lol. Back when I played, Kuftal was infested with NPC'ers, but it wasn't -too- bad, you could still get some exp there.

59~60 in ugly range
60-62 in Tree
62-65 in cape

i really don't understand why anyone would go out of their way to fight crabs. Crabs are really shitty for Bst to level on imo unless you duo and have someone sub rdm. The STR down and DEF up bs kills chains so easily. 800 silent gas sics on spiders owns opposed to the shit you can do with crabs (zomg metal shield)

I did a level in kuftal vs spiders. On some days there was a lot of competition with npc players, but on some days I had the whole basement spider area to myself. 80-100 exp per kill isn't bad when the spiders have about a 30-35% drop rate. Raptors just eat them up too. Usually if I couldn't find a duo, I'd screw around in kuftal until another bst logged on.

But yeh, tried Boyahda Tree first...Death Cap's usually only did Frog Kick, and Silence/Dark Gas did 80s ^^;; Guess I'll give Ule. Range or Kuftal a shot next, thanks guys.
