Brady Games Atlas: Any Good?

I was wondering what exactly this guide is for. I know it shows NM spawns and maps of all the areas, but does it update the previous guide or bring anything important?

I'm sorry if someone already posted this but my searches found nothing.

It's nothing you can't find online and kept up to date, for free, interactive or printable. In short, it's junk.

and i want the atlas too.

my reason, is to read it when i am not near a computer.

Also i cant go look info up when i am playing FFXI....so it would be nice in that case too.

Yea im the same , i read the guide when i was at home since i play ffxi at a lan cafe, but it is obsolete now, i was wondering if anyone has it though?

#1: Put paper in your printer.

#2: Go to http://www.ffxi-atlas.com/

#3: Click the map links.

#4: Print out all the pages you need.

#5: 3-hole punch them and put them in a binder.

You'll thank me later.

That's not good...

Most copy shops will print CD contents, so if you burn the images to CD, you can get it printed for... *pokes at the calculator* maybe $7 for every map of every area?

Probably double the content and accuracy of the Brady maps, (NM, Chest, and Coffer spawns) for half the cost.

Thanks for posting this link. I like this site better then the other maps I have seen.

Color ink cartridges (for my printer) run about 60 bucks. Black ink cartridges (for my printer) run about 50 bucks. Printing all the maps would take up a lot of ink (not to mention the paper). Then you have to buy the binder for about 2 bucks (and a hole puncher because I would say 50% of households have them).

OR you could buy the atlas for $19.99.

OR you could play on PS2 like me and view the online maps via lap top. ^^
