BRD Maat {Mine}{Byah!}

Well, after playing this game since 2003, I finally decided that I was going to fight Maat. Haven't really been on as often as I'd want to be, but hey, I killed Maat. lol.

I went in with:
Head> Blink Band / AF Hat
Neck> Bird Whistle(lol)
Hands > AF Hands
L.Ring> Moon Ring
R.Ring> Moon Ring
R.Earring> Melody Earring
L.Earring> Melody Earring
Waist> Gleeman's Belt
Back> Jester's Cape + 1
Legs> AF Legs
Feet> AF Feet
L.Weapon>Rapier
R.Weapong>Elegant Shield
Range>Horn/Kingdom Horn/Hamelin Flute

So, I stocked up on 15 Hi-pots + 3, a Persikos Au Lait, an Icarus Wing, and a Taco. I also borrowed Botosai's Blink Band(tyvm). And no, I did not use an Opo-opo Necklace and Sleep Potions.

I go in with no gear on, and then poof! I'm in. I equip everything, get blink up, eat my taco, use Soul Voice and double Paeon myself. Then I debuff the man, and he comes at me and hits for 87 damage. So I'm like, shit. I pop the Persikos Au Lait. At that point, I'm parsing around 26 HP a tick which was crazy lol.

He uses his first weapon skill. It's combo(woot!). Did roughly around 273 damage. So I start popping hi-pots +3 and hit him for 150 damage with Spirits Within. So all is going well. I get down below 800 at one point, and then I get nervous when he uses another weapon skill.

It's One Inch Punch! Did around 181 damage. So I again start popping more Hi-pots+3 until I have like 3 left, and I then get to 99% TP. I'm so ready to use my 2nd weapon skill on this sucker.

That, however, was to no avail. He lost the fight right when I hit him to break 100% TP. I was pissed. But hey, I beat him on my first try. :biggrin:

In the end, I still had an Icarus Wing and 3 Hi-potions +3 left. Wahoo!

imo brd maat is the easiest... u can beat it with staff sword or dagger the only thing u got to do is stay alive. I was told that someone kited him to death once just running around the circle popping hi pots when necessary.

Mmm congrats on beating him. I remember going on with like 20 Hipot+3s and only using like five of them...but then again, I did alot of stuff different. And I'm not an elvaan =P.
