maat

Well, I did my 'test' run. Found out somethings that'll help for the next run. Just wanted to double check on a few things and get some opinions and suggestions from other DRKs who've done this. Buy (x?) Icarus Wing's Buy (x?) " " Potions Buy 4 Sleeping potions. - Other then that, should I...

The following took place in approximately a 3~4 second period. Then I used reraise and tagged him once with requiem so he decided to giveup instantly before any DOT could even take place.

Well, this is a good time for me. I went and finally fought Maat. I won first time, and yes I know Blm is not the hardest job to go and fight Maat. But I'm excited!! I won and got time record, first for me. Thank you too everyone who guided me through the lvls and coached me on it. My next...

Hello hello, I was seeking for a few hours last night, then I got bored, and decided to pass the time killing Lesser Colibri for a little bit of exp and a few Beastman Seals. There were too many other people soloing the Colibri much, much better than I was, so I decided to give up. I figured...

I DESTROYED Maat earlier today, after searching through Castle Zvahl Baileys for about 3 hours for my 2nd test. The prep took longer then the actual fight lol. 3 ws did him in, Yuki > Gekko > Yuki and he was done. Took all of 4 mins and 51 seconds. Thanks to Erindil and Wargod for helpin me farm...

OK Can anyone elaborate on the brd maat strategies? I've heard of 2 strats so far that I cant seem to find anywhere now. One is the basic melee Maat down strategy. MIx in SV paeon ect blah blah blah. The other is to focus completely on dmg reduction gear instead of DD/eva gear and eventually...

Hello. I'm getting ready to fight Maat in like 2 lvls. Ive heard so much about PLD Maat being so easy and what not. Ive also heard alot of stuff on the best way to take him. Some people told me that just equip like half DD gear, and make sure you bring Hi-pots, Hi-ethers, and Yag drinks. Can...

So apparently maat uses an ability called "tackle." It was a WS that hit me for around 120. Is this a rare thing? I've fought him many times (trying to do it steal style, dumb idea) and he always uses a H2H ws of some kind. Dragon kick, asuran fists, combo, etc. But it was just "tackle."...

I failed the search for this miserably, I remember it coming up before too: If you beat Maat on one job and go to fight him as a different job later that you haven't beaten him on for kicks, does it force you to fight him as a 70, or would that other job stay at it's current level (70+) in the...

I'm only 66 but I got a test recently and decided to try him out, to see exactly how he works, I only took a few hipots and a hi ether(lol yeah), used regular cookies so I wasnt intending on beating him. just see how resistant he was Current stats Enhancing-230 Enfeebling-250 (Spider and...

Well, after playing this game since 2003, I finally decided that I was going to fight Maat. Haven't really been on as often as I'd want to be, but hey, I killed Maat. lol. I went in with: Head> Blink Band / AF Hat Neck> Bird Whistle(lol) Hands > AF Hands L.Ring> Moon Ring R.Ring> Moon Ring...

Well after 3 trys i decided to grit my teeth and really get serious. After help from Tonic(most favorite Garka ebar!) we spent about two hours in Castle O(damn thing wouldnt drop). After that i said to myself, i lost 3 times, it does'nt really matter one more. Go to Jeuno and gear up and talk...

Do you have to talk to maat on each job before you beat Maat? pld and bst I talked to maat simply cause I didn't know where the battle was, but smn I knew was winderst area. I went and beat maat as smn, but I didn't get "Maat masher" title. Like I did with pld and bst. Did it count the win...

I just beat him on my 3rd attempt, Battle time was 9 minutes 38 seconds, very close. I also accidentally used Invincible before the fight even began lol I am so pleased ^^ I want to thank Qla from my ls Chibiimers for helping me prepare items, Kris from Chibiimers ls for helping me farm my 3rd...

Well, it was much easier than I thought it would be. Ya read up on Maat and how to beat him and hear about how many tries to took so-and-so to beat him. Get all worked up, not sure if I'm gonna have to farm another whm test or not. Then I go in and beat him in one try. Damn, that made me feel...

Any tips? Already working on skilling Sword for Spirits within, and i have Evasion/Accuracy gear.

Yeah, so I got WS'd and pwned by Maat on my first try. He successfully spanked me so hard that I cried... but still kinda liked it :nyam: . Anyways.... I need some help, idea's and opinions from you guys as to what I should do to win this fight. Because, well... I'm only good for another 20k XP...

Ok, this guy has pwn'd me twice. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with him that could offer me a few tips. I'm at level 69 right now. I've read a bunch of strategies, and watched a few videos, and here is what I've come up with... Go in (naked) Equip Opo-opo: Sleep to 100 TP Use...
