Edit: It cuts down deaths which cuts down the downtime when those people who are spamming songs actually fight the mobs insetad. Fixing this statement because it reads awkward and unclear.

If I see more THF/BRD, RNG/BRD, NIN/BRD, and I see them run THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION from the main fighting, I'll keep right on pulling the Campaign mobs straight to them. Especially if it's something nasty like Vee Qiqa the Decreer.

Sorry fort he double post. Sure you don't lose exp but it's still fucking annoying to die in campaign and be weakened.
 
I usually go campaign with /BRD on my DRK because I am too low to hit anything to gain any valuable exp. It sucks spending my evenings, the only time I can play seeking endlessly without a single invite to show. I do ops every chance I can, I get the exp scrolls that are relatively easy to obtain and yet, it would take me months to achieve what a single night in campaign can give me /BRD. I'm sorry, but it's a glitch SE made and I'll abuse it because SE is too stupid and far too damn late to finally give some alternative methods to getting exp parties. This coming update is, much like everything SE does, a day late and a dollar short. And yet, it still doesn't remove a majority of the problems faced by exp, the party itself.

You want to complain about shit, complain about the lack of methods for low levels to obtain decent experience and you'll find a lot less people in campaign "wasting" your time. Because honestly, it's a fucking waste of mine and I hate every second of it, but I'll take what I can get.
 
techinically you shouldn't complain since the damage taken gives you more points added along to your spamming of songs gives you even more exp points as long as we raise you it's fine.

non /brds can be opportunists too

and how are we going to tell the difference between the people spamming more songs than another if there are about...15 of you singing?
 
So am I to assume that after the september update you'll no longer be exploiting this glitch anymore since you're only doing it because of the "lack of methods for low levels to obtain decent experience" and the new update will let you level with all your friends?
 
Because everyone who spams hangs out by the tag giver. Sure, you can go hunt down the guys who hide around in nooks and crannies, but you've got the best chance for the most lols if you grab some mobs and head straight for the arbiter.
 
on a side note invite more of the brds doing campaign nearby. My brd has to pull teeth to get people to accept an invite in campaign which is a mutually beneficial situation as far as im concerned. I get my exp cap faster. they get to hit harder/ballad/marches.
 
And by "spams", I mean /brds, /mages who spam enhancing magic, etc.

if there are no mobs incoming and someone somewhere is holding a mob (i hate that too), leave my bar/enspell-spamming blm/rdm alone, dammit.

Ok, but get out of there as soon as the mobs come in, because not long after the fail train will be stopping at Arbiter Station!
 
i've actually wanted to MPK the /brd spammers myself a few time. but i was to busy FIGHTING to do such things. SMN's out there as /brd really grait on my nerves. the abbiluty to buff ANYONE with tags on is a godsend almost. spam your BP's on players participating and get your exp. you help us and get what you want. is that so hard?
 
I've seen some people use /brd during the wait times and then jump into the fighting when the mobs arrive. Thats cool with me.

The rest of you bishes, you can go die :D
 
This thread was entertaining. Good stuff.

I tend to MPK the NPC's with the bosses so the bosses don't destroy everyone...I don't really lower myself to the level of the /brds by MPKing them, as I'm being just as worthless as they are by doing it. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE seeing them get canned. I can let someone else do that while I do something worthwhile though, lol.

yeah there's a few that i've seen maybe two and i agree was a little suprised when i saw it the first time

This, as much as it grinds my gears, I'm there to have fun with friends, buffer a job, or simply try to help Sando from their struggles.
