RDM's cant refresh you unless you're in PT. I go pld/rdm so that I don't have to rely on other people to keep my ass alive when tanking. I heal others if I have MP but most of the time I don't have any from keeping my own ass alive.
 
I tank as PLD/WHM, I solo/duo as PLD/WHM, I heal NPC's as PLD/WHM. I kite trains of mobs PLD/WHM. I DD PLD/WHM.

Did they silence it? IDK i was AFK for the entire 15-20 mins it took them to kill it... its lasted as long as a campaing battle... and thats what we are talkin about.
 
10 minutes total. I didn't notice it was gone and started sending the tells in my sig a few minutes after...stopped talking when they had killed.

and hexx, you said someone running a script; I've said over and over: 5 macro's 3 songs each, 14-15 separate songs, all spammed on me depending on level

100% legal, scripts on the otherhand, not legal of of course and do what you will, couldnt care less because *ahem* it doesnt affect ME

I'd say he and the whm were busy responding to my tells...but they didn't respond...so yea, no excuse there.
 
Even if they did, responding to tells doesn't inhibit your ability to hit the 2-3 macros you need for this fight, lol. I guess that's the problem with being the benefactor of a pyramid scheme ls, you don't actually get any better at the game despite having gear thrown at you.

No, leave your tunic on. Refresh is much more useful than the stat boosts from the hauby thing. I have one and it's permanently on my mannequin because it isn't worth it.

I totally agree with you-- but that's why I refer healing others along the same lines as community service. It's like the masses screaming "OMFG, ur a whm.. u suppose heal us...", but I'm not getting the same support I would in a party and someone compared campaign to the same commitment of a party which it's not for that reason alone. I'm better off meleeing and taking damage and healing and buffing myself with a cure here when I have extra mana to spare. Any time I have to stop to rest I'm not gaining any exp which is the main thing that hurts mages. And like Tris said, the SMN/SCH is for sublimation and also conserve. It tend to help in not needing to rest as much. I don't think /SCH gives the aoe stratagem, Hexx, but I could be wrong.

And Jeska, I totaly agree with you, as I would honestly step back and not melee if the bonus for healing & enhancing reflected the mana & time spent. 20 exp for a raise is a joke-- but I'm guessing they did that so that people didnt just have a mule die over and over again?


Now Moink if you're getting 5k a campaign as /SCH I seriously would love a guide. I'm guesing that I missed some fine line of sarcasm because with the exp per minute even on the highest rank that would be next to impossible unless it was an incredibly long battle. But if you can teach me how to maximize my EXP better while being able to help to others I'm totally down for that. In fact it might toally alter my stance on this issue.

Lol Jamal-- with all your merits you could tank naked as a PLD/DRG.

No, /SCH doesnt give the AoE Stratagem (i shouldve known that LOL stupid me) But yes 5k exp or so IS possible under a long campaign (hour + i would say) but anything lower and the most i can achieve is about 3k exp or so per battle.
