I really hope that Bret Hart does not attend this this event after being screwed out of his dream and career and if he does i hope to god he slaps the shit out of the Vince.

As to why this is happening i am thinking to make the WWE look good and let people believe that they put the past behind them which they did not.

Call it whatever you want but i think its pretty fucked up that after all these years he is just now being accepted, should have been done along time ago if you ask me.

would love to get thoughts on this from people that know the history about
Bret Hart being screwed.

uhh, what happened again? Bret was caught using drugs that vince made him take and vince fired him? or was that Hulk Hogan?

What happened was that money got in the way of a good business relationship.

I honestly think its sad being setup and and Humiliated in his country and just the way it all went down was a cowards way to fire somebody on Vince's part.

Bret Hart was one of my favorite wrestlers til he left for WCW. Then he was just kind of pathetic, and old.

Wrestlers and hall of fame shouldn't be used in the same topic even once....

Which is why i think its a waste on Bret's part to even consider attending this.

I honestly think in his WCW career he was unhappy.

no words can describe how i feel about what happened being screwed out of his dream and being setup to tap out to his own finishing move in his own country.

ohh btw what exactly is the deal with Hogan atm? working part time for the wwe or what?

I can't say, I havent watched wrestling in ages. i think i stopped right after jeff hardy left the wwe, the TLC matches wouldnt be the same. man those were hardcore.

nvm... Owen Hart was the one that died.

Bret Hart and Undertaker were my favorite wrestlers...back in the day like 9-10 years ago. I havent watched WWF (or WWE as they call it now) for about 6-7 years.

I honestly believe that in the WCW he kinda just quit trying probably never even gave a 100% focus in his WCW career then again after owen died he never really was the same.

Wasn't Brett Hart the one in the gay sex scandel?

I was a Legion of Doom guy myself. Hawk and Animal owned.

Why do people talk about wrestling like its a serious thing? Do you just lie alone at night telling yourself that its real?

Back before the stunts just got retardedly over-done, the showmanship was rather entertaining (back in the era Decidence referred to, 6-10 years ago) - in the heydey of Undertaker, Bret Hart, Jim Duggan, Doink, et al.

Now it's too over the top to be interesting.

Yet you have no idea the time effort and the body sacrifices that alot of people made because they did something that they loved.

Refering to the Hell in the Cell match The undertaker Vs Mankind, mankind being thrown off a 16 foot cage onto the announce table and being chokeslammed thru the cage.

please tell me again how alot of this is fake?

I would say 10% fake 90% real,

Real fucking blood man getting hurt very badly.

The stunts are real, the outcomes are not. That fact makes the "sport" of wrestling fake whether they are doing hard stunts or not.

Brett Hart is old school though. If WWE has a HoF then he deserves to be there, all the business behind it happens, just like players in real sports jumping teams. Too bad baseball didn't put their pettiness behind and let Pete Rose in.

And I'm 100% sure the owner of WWE wouldn't have let him in if things hadn't been worked out before hand between WWE and Bret Hart. So you can asure yourself Bret Hart is getting enough compensation to make up for whatever has happened in the past.
