Brief Introduction

[Mystery]

Hello everyone.

I'm a new player to Final Fantasy XI. I play on PC and I use to play other online RPGs. Specifically, Ragnarok Online and DarkAges. I came to FFXI because someone gave it to me as a gift a couple years ago but I never used it so when a close friend of mine urged me to try it, I decided to give it a go. So far, I'm soloing and it doesn't seem like there are that many people in the game. Maybe this is because I'm low level and the places I hunt at the times I'm on are just under populated. Anyways, if anyone wants to say hi, my in game name is Thistle. I'm a level 13 (almost 14) hume warrior. Probably not the best choice, but so far it's pretty fun. I'll probably go Paladin/Warrior later on.

hello.

At your level you should be able to get to Valkurm Dunes for some nicenice XP, but with badbad pts. - .-

If you need an escort there, gimme a shout ingame, name is Moriki.

Welcome!!

No choice seems "the best" when you haven't completed your subjob yet, but WAR is pretty common and useful, so have no regrets. I recommend using either a greataxe or an axe and shield and join parties in Valkurm Dunes until you can complete your subjob quest.

Good luck to you!

I am goan escort him to Valkurm later today, had a chat ingame, goan drop by Gusgen (he is Bastokian) and nab his skull so he can get his Apron and worm through XPing.

Welcome to Quetzalcotl and the QCDN! Looks like you're already well taken care of! :B

[Mystery]

Thanks for all the warm welcomes. Especially to Moriki who's helped me learn some of the basics. ^_^

[chrono fantasy]

Enjoy the low amount of people you see now because once you head over to jeuno, it's crowded and laggy... Anyways, you should maybe try to get yourself a LS from someone that might have a lot of helpful people, and if you have any questions I can try to help you ingame too. Name is Chronofantasy ingame too.

Welcome to QCDN. If you need any help, let me know.
