Ok so i have 2 issues here. one is really weird. I got this xbox right, and its really really bright. The +1 boxes around equipment all just blure together and it almost hurts my eyes to look at the screen. I triad adjusting gama ratings and it brought it down a little bit but by the time the text and menu bars were standable brightness the game screen was to fucking dark i couldn't see through ifrits caldron lol i was blind.

Anyone know how to fix that?

I got this windower thingy for my pc's. first off WOW its cool lolgood stuff yeah. BUT!! its to fucking dark. my monitor is like turned all the way up to try and see and nothing just fucking dark. I play with 1024/768 so i can see better since i dont sit directly infront of the screen. but my desktop res is the really big one um... 2000 something. so does that make a difference? i usually just maximize the screen after the windower opens.

Anyone know how to fix that?

Go under the windower ini file and change the gamma to a high number, 60 usually works for me.
 
or press f11. I have to press f11 after every new windower startup. It toggle the brightness real quick.
 
Yes, if you open up one of the files in the windower folder, you have the line:

game gamma 50

Change the value of 50 to 60 and it works just fine.

Alternately you can, every time you load the game, go into the console with the red lettering and type the line

game gamma 60

to fix it every damn time...
 
if you hit ` it come up with a command box and then you type in brightness X

where X is value or something, well that was on old windower i had
 
Get your TV control and err lower brightness?

Wait, you have a windower for WoW ... which already has windowed built in? O.o

color me confused.

I have an issue somewhat similiar with WoW i have to reset the gama to use desktop setting everytime i tab out or it's dark as hell. I'd say you could probably get a permanent fix using the video options on the video button but other than that i got nothing but i giant "durrrrr..." to go with.

Go to your desktop thing (forgot name lol) on the 360 and hit right till you get to settings and check there should be a game brightness, if not its in your POL settings
