BST/SCH

As I've posted in the General thread my old account looks like it might be gone for good, so due to the limited time that I have to play on a weekly basis I am strongly considering leveling BST. I know the 'normal' subs for BST are WHM, NIN and it seems DNC of late. What I'm curious about is if SCH would make a good sub for BST.

May work instead of /WHM or /RDM in some situations. Would make it more feasible to enfeeble mobs at higher levels, and 70+ sublimation would definitely help. You'd lose some of your buffs, and erase though.

I can't see it giving you much advantage at low levels.

Only thing I don't like about /SCH is the loss of Blink and Stoneskin. Those spells have helped me survive mischarm/links so many times before.

It's pretty cool. Like gannon, the only thing I don't like about /sch is the loss of blink and stoneskin, and that goes for my blm as well as my bst. I've only once done bst/sch and that was by accident. I wasn't in a dangerous area, so I can't tell you how well it works out, but Regen II is pretty nice. You get poisona and paralyna, which are essential, so I don't see why it wouldn't work unless you need to sneak/invis charm and stuff.

Sch is flexible. I'm sure it's a useful subjob in many situations. I don't like it as much as I thought I would for my blm, but for my bst I don't see much of a problem.
