Why do you keep posting this stupid propaganda BS? This is what...the 4th propaganda thread you have on this forum page alone? And when you get confronted on it, you run away or let someone else fight for you. Lay off the propaganda and stop posting unless you are going to try to debate an actual issue.

Heh. Daily Show ftw. They're always great. Geezus Rones, lay the hell off would you? As if you were some how blind? I bet you didnt even watch it did you? If you did then you ARE blind if you can't freaking see "Comedy" down at the bottom the whole god damn time. This was a Daily Show skit, or atleast it appears to be, by the voices and the fact that it fades to a news-like show at the end, and the constant intermitten laughter placed throughout the video, whether digitally placed there or by a live audience's reaction.

The video is pretty damn hilarious, but I guess you must be one hell of a Bush supporter to not realize that. It's not propaganda, its a comedy skit, and whether or not you like it.. face the facts, the undertone of the video is pretty true even though it was made soley for entertainment purposes and holds no real basis since it was made for the sole purpose of making people laugh.
 
I did watch all of it. I did see the logo, but that doesn't match the comedy central logo I'm familiar with.

And that is what makes it propaganda. Funny or not, it is made with an agenda in mind beyond comedy. "A propaganda message can to be distinguished from more general forms of publicity because it includes significant and deliberate falsehoods, and/or omits so many pertinent truths that it becomes highly misleading." This video omits lots of important details from its sound blurps.

I'm not a huge Bush supporter as much as I'm an anti Bush basher. I don't agree with throwing propaganda around by either party against either party. You can make politcal satire without be insulting to opposing supporters. Opus the Penguin comic strips for example attacks republican political ideas while remaining funny to both parties. Doonsberry could learn a lot from that penguin. 8) If it was only this video, I wouldn't care much. However Darkdante has posted thread, after thread, after thread of garbage. When challenged on it, he just runs off and makes another one.
 
It means you start a thread, prod the flame some and then make another thread. That fbi crime statistics thread is a fine example.

I've said before I disagree on Bush on a number of issues. I'm pro abortion and stem cell research for example. I'm also against pork barrel projects from either party which Bush has allowed his fair share of. This is nothing new nor thanks to you. :P
 
Either way. This was amusing to me. If it was Bill Clinton, or George Bush, or Jimmy Carter. Presidential Parody's are amusing. :?
