I live in Oshkosh.

A friend sold his for just over $200, I didn't get nearly that much cause I didn't have as much gear as he had. He had major uber items and had a few levels on me.

I am guessing they will sell my account for $300 ish.. from what I saw on their site for prices. Level 43 bard with a bunch of other jobs near 30.

They only buy 1 million gil for $170 US though.. so the number I heard of 5 mil for 1k US is not accurate.. but $850 isn't bad for 5 million gil.
Now if I had a way to make 5 million gil without spending every waking minute playing the game.. that would be pretty sweet.. You literally could make a living off the game.

Anyways, I got most my money out of the game, I logged 33 and 1/2 days in gameplay since last december. 800 hours and I think I had a loss of about $70-80 including the game purchase.. which to me, isn't bad at all.. considering how much play I got out of it.

Who knows, with the expansion, I suppose I could return.. but I just got bored and haven't had much time to play lately..

I went to Appleton for my brothers' wedding! He married some chick out there and she turned out to be a whore. He was in the military and she didnt feel like "waiting around". Anyway the parties up there were pretty wild! That was 4th of July 2 years ago.

I can provide more details if you wish but her name was Terry Jo ______.

Im very sorry to see you go Akamu :( you were the first higher lvl to offer me assistance a long time ago with my sub job items. Your kindness and attitude towards karma and the knowledge you bestowed upon me helped shape my character into who she is now.

Yeah pretty much decided to get back into it... Just got logged in.. looks like I'm on caitsith at the moment.. but I'll get a world pass at some point to move me and my buddy back to Quetzalcoatl baby!!! Sweet Sweet Quetz!

I guess my old name hasn't been deleted yet.. so I can't be Akamu... I'm Barren now.

Just delete and re-create until u end up on Quetz
 
dude, if you ever DO manage to get a hold of asia tell her i need to talk to her. her son quit with my SH, Juji Gi and a few other choice items w/o telling me a few months ago.
 
I see the prices for gil went back to nomral. I remember about this time last year you could buy 2 mil for $21-$26 or so. But that was back when the economy got really high. If I would've known that I could've bought like 6 mil for $60 something and then resold it for $197 today lol.
