Cait Sith enters the scene! (String Table Entry)

Everyone but you got it. Aren't you feeling rather lonely in that dark room? I dunno about you, but I thought the sad smiley at the end made it rather obvious. Hell, I'd think

was a rather obvious joke too. Or should I report him to the mods for wishing death upon me?

Shouldn't you be creating another thread with information that could be easily edited into one of your previous OPs?

Ouch, you really got me there *inserts random roll-eyes Smiley in an attempt to make the sarcasm reach even the darkest of cellars*

I swear, if the ending CS of WotG is Caith Sith going back to his happy cat-land with an epic JP song playing in the background to a big wide garden with flowers and trees and big white clouds in the sunny sky, I AM GONNA SMASH MY 360 TO THE GROUND!

Cait Sith is a male mithra, who will return to the mithran homeland in the final WotG cutscene. He will then take all of the mithra players with him, and proceed to make kittens with them all. This is because, like the energizer bunny, mithra men just keep going, and going, and going...

The fact that Cait Sith is even a possibility in this expansion ruins all interest of coming back that I had been toying with. SE creativity has reached an all-time low.

>.>, k. Looks like someone is taking things to seriously lol. Cait Sith is awesome, and for that to be the only reason not to come back is lame.

Bolded for emphasis in case you miss the point again.

It may not be so much that they're unable to have new ideas, but they're trying to draw in more people by using favorite(?) characters from past Final Fantasys. Cait Sith was used many times throughout the franchise, why stop now?

How exactly are they reaching an all-time low by adding Cait Sith to the game?

Perhaps you missed the Final Fantasy in all, what? 20 of their games?

What's next? Their all-time low has been rock-bottom since the introduction of Shiva, Ifrit, Leviathan, Ramuh and Blue Mage?

lol QFT, and there's so much new stuff in this expansion(if you've been paying attention to the crystal war story)to explore.

Obviously did, did you make no whitty comment that you can normally formulate, normally degrading me and how much of a better player you are than me in every way, shape and form. Continue spamming GD.

Because I always do that.

Oh, fuck, no smiley. Don't flame me for not making sarcasm obvious enough.

First of all, Cait Sith the character ONLY appears in FFVII and he was, as someone has already mentioned, one of the most annoying and obnoxious characters in ANY Final Fantasy game. There is a Cait Sith doll in FFX, a costume in FFX-2, and some Cait Sith cards in FF Fables: Chocobo Tales

The reason why Final Fantasy USED to be a great franchise was because each game had its own unique identity and story. The only exceptions being the ubiquitous character named Cid who liked to tinker with things, crystals, airships, chocobos and a few of the summonable allies. Now all Final Fantasy means is, "How can we cross-reference as many themes/characters/plots/locations into our new games in order to rake in as much fanboy money as possible." In a consumer economy you vote with your money and I'm casting my vote for the Less Recyling, More Originality camp.

I'd like to purchase 50 shares of that Camp, if I may. It should be at a low buying price right now :D

Cait Siths are also usually coruel-type monsters in other FF games.
This Cait Sith has a similar design to the FFVII one, but it's lankier, more anthropomorphic than the FFVII one, and...is female.

He was also in FFVI as a summon o.ob.
