Who here plays this game online? I've only had it for a few weeks, and I'm having a lot of fun. Looking to have some PSN buddies and the like...feel free to add me or send me a message.
 
I play cod4 online quite a bit as of late since my PC bit the dust and I can't play MMOs.

CoD4 would get my vote for best PS3 game to date. I play when I can...which can be vary anywhere from 1 match to 20 matches per day.
 
Is it sad that the best game out right now for either console is a multi-plat?
 
Mass Effect might go to more systems though if EA has their greedy ways with it >.> and they'll prolly fuck up the game at that :( oh EA.. how you suck

1st person shooters will nvr get best game of the year regardless of online in my books.

The better game is actually Uncharted. CoD4 just has online for fun factor, just like Halo, and all the other online games.

CoD campaign comes crazy close to fun factor in Uncharted's campaign, but the online puts it way over the top.

Besides, how do you decided if a game is good or not if not for a fun factor?

Well if we were to grade the games lets seeeeeeee... Just going off #1Fun factor, #2Visuals, #3Gameplay, #4Story and a way underated area... #5Moneys worth. In that exact order...

I would go...
Uncharted~ 4, 5, 4, 3, 2
CoD4~ 5, 5, 5, 2, 5
Mass Effect~ 3, 4, 3, 5, 4

None of them bad at all. Just my opinion anyways, but i do feel its very honest and acurate.

EDIT: I honestly would care about your view Cloc just like you probably dont care for mine. You probably dont like FPS judging by the way you singled them out in your response lol. If i didnt like adventure games i guess its proper to say they cant be game of the year material also lol.

Whyd you only give CoD4 a 2 on story? I thought the SP story line was pretty fucking bad ass.

That was a pretty bad story man. I dont think it gets much worse. You played as a couple of people you never even get to know. Chase some guy, then his son and then run from him... The end... If you enjoyed the ride then cool, as for story in the ride it was just thrown in. I even think they just layed down the multiplayer while creating the game and then said, shit we forgot to add a story. Anyone got one? Then added whatever. Also if i pop a guy in the head with a Barret .50, dont give me that BS i hit his arm lol.

EDIT: Also Raidr, i judge it off whats out atm. Not just a story for FPS. Compared to the games that are out there not many FPS come close in story, for sure not one this mixed up.

It'd be nice to play with some mature people for once. Most games I'm in I end up listening to some 12-year-old-wannabe-50 Cent-kid talk trash about how gangsta he is IRL.

My fav was this kid who comes on sounding like a female (his voice was so high-pitched) and he goes:

"I killed 2 people in real life ni**a whatttt"

American youth is so fucked up.
 
I play at random times but not often enough to join any clans. I've got maybe 9 hours of playtime total and I bought it day 1. Clan idea is cool except that I don't expect to be able to be there that often to be anything important.

A crossgame clan would be cool though, with Warhawk, Resistance and UT3. Though COD4 and Resistance probably the only games enough people have to make sense.
 
Well I don't play hardcore enough to be a real clan either. I figured the clan tag would be just a way of identifying us as a casual group that plays together when we feel like it.

/shrug

I'd be down for Warhawk and COD4 though if we did do a cross game thing.
 
I play every now and then but haven't been in much of a gaming mood other than maybe a FF here and there. And I have no intention of getting a mic D:
 
I think most of us play on xbox. Like myself, osiris, chasym, skaw, elei, jereme and make. Did I miss anyone? I think thats all i've played with atleast.

I also play on PC because I got a free CD Key from a friend of mine, but I'm not gonna get it for ps3, that'd just be silly.
