yeah I was being "hit" by an orc in west ronfaure while hanging out with a friend lvling smning magic, I was 33 rdm so it was doing 0 dmg even if it did hit, but it was still annoying, being wacked by a monster that was purple and I couldn't hit. After 20 minutes it finally turned yellow and a Stone II'd its ass for pissing me off so long.

I shouted to the whole zone during that time for someone to come kill their orc heh no one ever showed.

I quit reading after this. I don't know why I have such a huge hang-up
about leet-speak, but I do. Oh I know why, because it is neither "leet"
nor "speak". It's ignorant and makes leet-speakers sound ignorant as
well.

Your purpose may have been noble; to swear without really swearing.
It may have been in jest against those of lower intelligence who can't
decide whether or not to "/call" for help. Regardless, my anit-leet-speak
hangups kicked in and I stopped reading.

If you read every post I did on this forum so far, when did I ever use leet-speak? never. Read this post again, that particular word was to put emphasis on the stupidity of the whole statement, statement that would be make by people who would'nt call for help because they will loose exp on the kill, taking a big chance of having the whole party dying. At the very extreme, it was merely to put a smile on the reader's face.

Fuck, the more I read your post, the more it makes me mad! Why? Because unlike a lot of people here, I take some time to write my posts and being a french-speaking person, I still apply myself in trying to respect ever grammar rules of the english language and I try to avoid as much as I can mispelling the words. And I make a point of organizing my posts in an easy-to read manner.

You coming here and taking ONE word out of context, exposing it to everyone and then saying you stopped right there because blablablabla AND referring to me as ignorant because of it, that in my mind is totally uncalled for and pisses me off, a lot!!!

You're still here? You did not stop because I misplaced a coma or a dot? Or because I did not use 2 spaces after a dot? Wow, I'm impressed!

You don't want to read the whole original post, fine, but then don't come out and call me ignorant or anything because you are really just talking out of your ass!

I was recently "helping" in the dunes near the Selbina Zone. A whole party is zoning a pugil. I throw a cure II on one member with low hp pulling agro. Eh...no problem..it's rarely hitting me and when it does the damage is low. The party zones into Selbina...(or so I thought). The pugil stays purple...I'm waiting...it's still slapping me..or trying to. I'm waiting some more. Finally I notice the guy I cured run by. I /s Hey...is ths your fish? Call for help so I can kill it." Nothing...he and his party just run on by back to their camp. I'm pissed now...I mean..it's not like the thing could kill me...but still..it's their damn fish! lol Finally it loses interest in me and head back to camp...at that point I really didn't give a fuck what it did to them..lol

When that happens to me I Zone and let the monster head back to there camp to cause bloody HELL ! At that time I figure, as my Daddy used to say, " This is going to hurt me more then it will hurt you !"

You speak excellent english. Your grammar is top-notch. I believe that we are on the same page as to your reason for using one single word of "leet speak" in your original post. I agree you were making fun of "leet speak"ers by doing so. You are not ignorant. I just have a hang-up about
that and decided to stop reading once I had seen that word.

To me, it is on the same level as "ghetto-speak" or any other lazy approach to decent grammar and conversation. I am not attacking your grammar and I realize you placed that word in there for jest. Just the same, I had seen it and quit reading.

If someone says "Let me axe you a question." I'd respond "Don't AXE me. That would hurt." Why would I do that? Because I am a dick sometimes, but mostly because it's just plain laziness and it's not cute.
Some people let "ghetto-speak" and "leet-speak" define themselves and it does. It defines them as lazy and ignorant. They may not be lazy and ignorangt, but that is the image one gets when one is confronted with this.

Yeah, some of the low levels really need to learn this. I was skilling up staff in Qufim, and this one group tried to tackle a Giant. He just started killing em off, one by one. And for some reason, they all didn't zone. They were by the Delkfutt's Tower entrance, and they just ran in around till they died.
I killed the giant, and then raised up the 4 of em...

Then it happend again, with another party.
I almost pissed my pants watching them run around while I shouted "Call for help and I can engage"
