Remember those days when the Beastmen controlled most of the zones and were even invading our home towns? I miss those days it was fun to walk out the MH there and see invading hordes marching up the high street, now it seems we are all over their backyards up north lately and we seldom lose any areas.

I dont even feel that there's really that many more people participating in Campaign Battles it just seems like the beastmen arent trying as hard anymore, I've been doing campaign since it started and its not the on your edge battles it used to be, now Pld's and Rdm's grab single mobs and take them into lonely corners to solo for 30 minutes while the rest of the participants are standing about the base wondering why the attack isnt over with no mobs attacking anymore.

My point is we've all gotten a bit more powerful since Campaign Battles starte, new gear and weapons and capped merits are helping us too much and the beastmen need to step it up a notch, its pretty sad to watch some NM's come into camp and be jumped by a dozen or more gung-ho warriors and killed in under a minute, when those NM's used to wipe the floor with us, this game is enjoyable at its most when theres challenge out there, bring back the challenge!

Anyone else feel this way?

I agree about bringing back the challenge but unfortunately some people are more interested in racking up xp by soloing mobs. You don't get very much xp if the mob is killed by a dozen or more people in under a minute. The challenge I liked was getting in the kill shot to gain the extra 100 xp so I would wait until the last possible second to throw in a weaponskill and hopefully beat everyone else to the punch.

Part of the reason the beastmen were even attacking us at home at all was because of poor battle strategies (backing a specific general, battle plans, internal policies) and nerobots. When you have a bunch of people participating it only makes sense that they're going to be easier to kill. SE adding zones like Beaucedine and Xarcabard to campaign upped the difficulty a bit, along with adding more Dark Kindred units. I'd say, since nobody owns xarc, or castle zvhal baileys or keep, that the Dark Kindred are putting up a good fight. Just a matter of time though, I think.

I miss the time when it was possible to do skill up on fortification :(

CAMPAIGN seems to suck in general now with the server merges><

While they're not literally on one's door step any longer, there's still plenty of challenge to be had in the Northlands zones. If you're looking to get your ass handed to you, pop up there.

We could use all the support we can get up there. It would be awesome to lay claim to all of the Castle areas, so that we could open up Fiat Lux.

Fiat Lux? I havent heard of that one, I havent been up north very often either, time used to be we'd get our assess handed to us in Jugner or Rolenberry didnt have to travel as far back then to get clobbered. ^^

FELYX!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes, I do too miss the ability to skill up on forts and campaign mobs. Very dangerous though :D

QFT

Nothing like seeing 45+ people zombie kill Shadowwing as he just sits there and spams his stupid aoe's.

not many people in campaing? last time I went out there was 40+ people in the adder union several times

I agree, mobs in the lower Campaign zones die too fast LOL, they should increase their HP a little I think.

You clearly have never tried to take out the Moonfang Pack on a full moon.....

Although overall, they are a little weak but that's only while we have the sheer numbers to help. Once it dies down again and people stop wanting to campaign, and you're one of 5 PCs and no NPCs in the zone the HP will be just fine....
By the way.... for all the weakness of the beastmen.... why is it they still control areas? We should control all areas... not in the Northlands... then SE will probably bump up the difficulty

The reason cities used to be attacked was because there was no benefit to holding zones that we knew of at that point. Attacking zones were worth more than defensive zones, and people just didn't care enough.

Now that we know of Splitting Heirs and the like, plus there being real, worthwhile rewards for ranking up/spending notes, people do the event, so we control more zones.

I knew with the addition of northlands and then Medal of Altana stuffs there'd be more people doing campaign. I think SE should add some more campaign weapons than just 3. Maybe like Kurts gk for sam/nin (since he is one) and we'd get Iainuki or Laisavie X Berlends bow for Arrow of Apathy.

Oh Synelia, I have, I hate Alpha Gnole Anders with a passion XD but I was referencing the other Campaign mobs that CANT self heal for ungodly amounts (and that dont spam it either like the Gnoles).

As of 10am cst we will lose Castle Zvhal Baileys/Keep and gain Throne Room. While this is going to mean no more Fiat Lux (I only went to one fight anyway ; ;) it DOES (or rather SHOULD) mean that we will all be able to purchase the Allied Ring, that anni ring on steroids, for the week. I'm interested in seeing how recharging it works out.

Unfortunately it cannot be recharged. >.< But with a max cost of 22.5k AN you don't need a crazy amount of luck (like you need to get another exp ring XD) or time to get one.

EDIT: Oh yeah you have to control the throne room which does take effort lol, but it seems like that's not much of a problem atm.

Yeah I figured we couldn't recharge it but I also figured it'd function like the anni ring. Be awesome for the time you have it then complain until we get it again lmao

The zone I truely hate is pash Marshlands S those stupid NM dragonwhatevers all they do is spam Breakaga so you spend half the fight either petrified or poisoned or dead or all three.

I have a personal vendetta against going to Pashhow Marshlands. If those stupid ass peiste don't petrify you, Gi'Ghi Rockchopper will by spamming bind and breakga.
