Has anyone seen any of these? I do quite a bit of campaign, but I have never seen any of these devices. Was wondering if anyone has?

Nope haven't seen them yet, have you checked inside the beastmen forts? Maybe they only appear in there since those areas were released along with the introduction of these new 'items.'

I have however seen a picture of them, so they do exist... somewhere >.>

The Belfry turned up in Rolanberry Fields last night, right after I'd cashed in and returned to Windurst. It was destroyed before I could get back there, but Neyla got to see it. /sigh

A belfry turned up in Rolanberry again. I really wanna see the Seige Turrets though, apparently they're absolutely enormous.

Spoiler:

Hmmm? They do announce them, but I can't say how accurate they've ever been...? Sorry, I'm not too positive what you're asking about the 10%.

Well there used to be campaign battles every 10-20mins (battles as in "Quadav/Orc/Yagudo have dispatched troops to Grauberg etc). Now they don't announce about their troop dispatchments.

Hmmm? I'm still seeing the messages while sitting in San d'Oria and the battles are still frequently going on. You're actually not seeing any of the gray messages? If so, maybe contact a GM?

Check your filters too because there is an option where you can turn off the notifications of campaign battle gatherings.

I have the same problem, I get the message when Windy, Sandy or Bastok was victorious. But not when Mobs have been send out to keeel.

I think the messages you get may be related to your country's current intel level. If people haven't been doing enough intel ops, intel level will drop and you'll get less information.

Well, that would be logical for enemy information, but wouldn't it be a little odd that the movements of the nation's forces would depend on intel level? I mean... surely they know when they sent out forces.

Unless it's a straight relationship with information, regardless of whether it is friendly info or not.

That and I also noticed we never know when the Kindred send troops. ( Shadowhand, Shadowfang, etc.) Wow I can post again!

they was talking about enemy troop movement though. They said they saw ally troop movements.

I believe you always get information about your own country, need more intel for information about the other two countries, and need more intel still for information about enemies. However, I'm thoroughly unclear on the details, so there's probably a better explanation on FFXIclopedia or something.
