For solo EXP, in the latest Expansion Pack it is quite possible to get some solo EXP towards level 50+. This is achieved via the new system, Campaign, which puts you in a Besieged style fight against Beastmen. You have to attack or defend certain locations, along with other players and with NPCs where available.

can anyone enlighten me on this? i use to play back in 04 till 06 so this is all new to me. i was just wondering can you really solo to 50 doing this? where can you do this? what are the requirements?

This is one of the main features of the Expansion WotG. In all the zones in the past campaign battles can occur, in which the Allied Forces of Altana (The side you join) have wars and battles against the Cofederate Beastmen forces. They mainly occur around a fortress, in which you need to get Allied Tags so you then can get your Experience points when the campaign battle ends. Just like in Besieged.

Youll have to look up the quests on starting out Campaign battle, but it mainly consists of going to the past through one of the maws outside of Jeuno (Batallia Downs, Rolanbery Fields, and the.. third zone (Sauremouge Champaigne?o.O)). You then head to either Crawler's Nest(Windurst), The Eldieme Necropolis(Bastok), or Garliage Citadel(Sandy) to get your letter of recomendation for the nation you wish to join(ie, the nation in paranthesis). Should probably look it up on wiki though.

Nope, you can't solo to 50 using this...

Well, you CAN, but it'll take a long time. I recommended that it's possible to do Campaign at levels 50 and onwards for "decent" EXP. At lower levels you'll die most of the time and there's an EXP penalty in place for those who are low level. The penalty gets lifted from 61 onwards but the closer you are to 61 the less strict the penalty is. It'll be much faster to solo Easy Preys to get your EXP if you had to solo to 50.

Ah yes, I forgot to mention this. Earlier this year, before the March update, you could actually fight in Campaign battle around lvl 55~ and get really good experience points. Unfortunatly, after every update they've put out, they horrendously gimp Exp earned for ppl below lvl 70. With the latest update, like Kiki said, they made you lose experience points when you die if your below lvl 61. Its not really something you should look forward to until you get.. lvl 61 or higher -.-; I guess the good thing out of the latest update was the Exp Increase on EP-DC mobs.

If you are a mage class, then you can get some exp through healing, but if you are melee, you really have a hard time doing damage and even hitting campaign mobs until your upper 50's or around 60. You get exp for doing damage, healing, enfeebling, etc.

They actually make you lose exp now? I thought you only lost exp the 1st day because it was glitched

You lose the accumulated EXP you get at the end if you die, not your actual main EXP.

The lose "main EXP" thing was a glitch which was fixed shortly.
