Can anyone help me understand this?

So I walking through valkurm, get to the tunnel and a sand bat, I try to avoid it, I get aggro and start zoning. A kind Ranger passes me and tells me to wait, I was trying not to die so I get out of tunnel, heal myself and reply him back, thank you. The bat was gone so i new he killed it.

Then 5 min later, I get a /tell from Blitzer, this is the exact convo. I didn't see this guy in the tunnel or anything, I haven't even seen his character when I was walking through the cave.

Blitzer>> i died trygn to save u, thanks for the help....

So I don't get whats going on, I didn't see him anywhere or try to help me, only person who did was a lvl 60 rng, Nace. I thank him for that. But this guy was rude for no reason, I had done nothing to him or known he was there.
 
seems like a misunderstanding and someone with a bad temper.
Well you didn't die so I guess he did help you in a way XD
He should be happy *grin*

Next time he try and help someone, make sure you are capable of doing it first :S
 
Hmmm. Sounds like he was pissed because he died so he put the blame on you.

You didn't do anything wrong. You got aggroed, you ran. It's not your fault he supposedly decided that he would try to kill it even though there was the chance of dieing. That would be like someone in Boyahda Tree going to zone 2 Robber Crabs and a person who levels on spiders tries to kill them. Just isnt going to work.

You say the RNG killed it. Maybe Blitzer was aggroed by a different bat that was behind you and figured it was yours.

Maybe Blitzer died to it a bit before the RNG was able to grab it and he HPed and then sent you that.

Another possibility is you may have gotten a link. Some bats popped just as you ran past and linked and he grabbed the linked one and died.

Only possiblities I can think of. As I said above, it's not your fault. Just ignore him and move on.

You did NOT see the bat, being killed, maybe the RNG decided it wasn't worth his time, and went on his way, while the bat got stuck (Witch mobs do get stuck if you are quick enough) then eventually aggroed someone else.

And let's not assume that not everyone in the dunes is a newb. It could be anyone's fault, and no one has enough evidence to point fingers.

I think the previous posters were wrong to automaticly assume its not your fault, and that other guy is some loud mouth newbie. You didnt know the RNG kill the bat, hell you said yourself you didnt even see it.

So you could of done the wrong thing. But I'm not saying you did. I'm saying no one knows.
 
I've only ever worked with Blitzer when he was DRG, which is somewhere in the upper 50s now, but it really doesn't surprise me if he'd go off on someone for little or no reason. I don't know what happened, but I wouldn't bitch much about a death in the Dunes. It happens, and the points aren't that hard to get back.

I won't even mention how Blitzer got me killed via a gobbie train in Ordelle's Caves when I was trying to get an RSE piece around 40. <.<
 
Blitzer seems like a n00b... I introduced my friend to Gusgen Mines, and he really enjoyed how fast he was making some profits. Then Blitzer came out of nowhere and started stealing points. I sent him a /tell saying {Steal} {No thanks.}, and he started giving me crap that it's everyones point. He ended up cussing me out for telling him not to Steal points. The sad part is he was 50 DRG at the time.
 
My Blitzer Experience (Lv.30 EXPPT)

Today, I was invited to a party with this person within. I had no clue about what job she had though it didn't concern me too much at the time. I just wanted to do my job, get experience points and live to keep them.

During the hour and a half in Garlaige Citadel fighting bats, this person would cast nothing but Firega and occasionally Blizzard or something on the mob until she ran out of mana then spent the rest of the time healing to recover.

I enquired to my linkshell weather this was standard "BLM" behavior. I was informed that if that was all she was casting then she is a poor player. I looked at the party list to see what the job was but it was hidden. Then I went to check the the equipment Blitzer had on. Looked okay-ish right up until I spotted TWO wands equipped!!! I was like, "What the hell?!"

As soon as I was just about to say something (during the fight I might add), she stood up and warped out then disbanded without any warning or anything. I immedaitely decided that this person is a pile of Goblin shit.

Nobody in the party had a clue what happened to her and thought she lagged out. I explained that she just left and was now in Lower Jeuno.

When I proceeded to question why she left, all I got was, "my mom just died". So I left it at that, I couldn't be bothered to fume much in the party about it. Then a few minutes later, I received a miss tell from this person - "how many".

How is your mom doing Blitzer!?

When I disbanded the party about ten minutes after because it just wasn't working, Blitzer was still in Lower Jeuno now wearing different gear and still in anon.

Yeah. This prick examined me once on my DRG, and began to tell me what I should or shouldn't be wearing. o_O; It kinda aggrivated me. Because he was really arrogant about it.

At that lvl blm/nin will do more damage with spells than any other sub so dont hate it till u try it.

Blitzer is a piece of shit. Let me tell ya a little story about this bitch that happened waaaay back. I get invite to pt in Labrynth of Onzozo, the spot where Ose spawns near. I get there and I join the pt, Blitzer is leader. Some other pt is fighting Ose and about to wipe, so Blitzer says we're going to take Ose when they die. We all agree and proceed to kill Ose. Now, we all did our part to take Ose down and several ppl in the pt need the Assault Jerkin as much as Blitzer does, so we all lot on it. Blitzer has a low lot, and not everybody has lotted on the item, so what does he do? He proceeds to kick everybody out of our xp pt, one at a time, till he gets the Assault Jerkin, then he warps out, leaving us standing there in disbelief. Just wanted to let ya know what kind of person this Blitzer is.... you decide whether or not it's fucked up. I hate the dude, and I'm not suprised by any of the other stories I've seen in this thread.
 
It's still pretty cold out for it to be June 2nd, 2005. Wait a minute, this is an old thread! I thought my calendar was broken again.
