I had to IMDB both of those guys, because I didnt know who they were. I kinda like that, because it would have felt weird watching someone super famous try to become Goku.

Live action versions of anime always make me laugh at the very least. If this movie bombs, someone could at least pull a "MST" on it and make it that much more amusing.

Final Destination was OK, the sequels were more of the same. But then I guess by that standard DBZ is right up their alley. =P

j/k. But honestly, I have no idea how that is going. What the hell is up with all these live action movies now?

Some of the recent ones (Like Transformers) were terrible. Although I am looking forward to the GitS Movie if negotiations work out.

How in the world could you find the Transformers movie anything but friggin awesome. :/ You're standards are so high I think they might touch saturn's rings. That, or you're not big on action movies. *shrug* I don't see how you couldn't have enjoyed that movie, oh I know, you're not human.

Transformers was fun, but it wasn't awesome. It had its moments, like when Prime stabbed that Decepticon in the head, killing him instantly. That was sweet.

A lot of the movie was just bleh.

I'm never accepting it as a Transformers film. The 80s film kicked ass.

Back on subject. Live actions films can be hit or miss, i'm hoping the DBZ live action film is not "miss".

It all depends on what arc of DBZ they want to do for a movie that will define if it sucks or not. I think anything past the Vegeta arc(IT'S OVER 9000) will suck because A LOT of the costumes will be so fucking stupid.

Unless they do like a Rocky and Bullwinkle thing where they mix CG and Live Action. In which case it will suck even worse.
 
They should make a live action movie of an anime series that doesn't suck and wouldn't suck more in live action. I'd love to see Josh Whedon do a Cowboy Bebop movie.

Cowboy Bebop, X are the only two really good anime series in my opinion. Evangelion and Outlaw Star to a lesser degree are decent. The only one of those that could work in live action is Cowboy Bebop.

Live action Kenshin OVAs too would be nice. NOT the series, too much of it is total shit with like a few good episodes at the end of each arc.

I agree here :P Death Note's a good Anime too. (but already has a live action movie, it's meh)

PA was amazing. I can't imagine that series even being... doable without animation.

On the subject of live action Sailor Moon, there was a live action tv series that was surprisingly watchable. You should hunt it down if you like the series, after the first few episodes being incredibly cheesy, they must've run out of budget because the rest of the series was a lot less campy. My favorite part is the little stuffed animal they used for Luna and just kinda bounced it around.
