Can you buy other nation's conquest items?

I remember hearing about this a few times, but never really understood how it works. If I want to buy another nation's conquest items, what are the requirements and can you buy "any" item? (excluding the signet staff and aketon)

There are two items that i'm interested in getting, but i'm not sure that I can. I'm from San d'Oria, and because its in 1st place this week I figured i'd try to take advantage of this. The two items i'm wanting are:

-Republican Gold Medal (Rank 8 item - available when Bastok is in 1st place)
-Master Caster's Bracelets (Rank 8 item - available when Windurst is in 2nd place)


Now I just tried going to a guard in Windurst to see if I could get the Master Caster's Bracelets, because Windurst is in second place.... but the only item that the guard offered me, was the "3rd place" item (Master Caster's Mitts)

If anyone can clear this up, it would be greatly appreciated

And even then, some items you just can't get.

If your nation is 1st in Conquest, and you want to buy Sandy or Windy items, it will cost you 50% more CP. However, keep in mind that some items are only available when they are 1st rank. So let's say you are windy that is 1st this week, and you want to buy the Republican Gold Medal which is 1st rank Bastok item. You will not be able to get it since Bastok isn't 1st, so item wouldn't be available.

In short, yes you can buy items from other nation. However, the items available depends on the nation ranks.

Best bet is go change allegiance if you have a lot of time to spare and get all the items you need from CP >.<.

Just saw this..., that's weird you should be able to get that... are you sure if it's 2nd place item? [Run to check]

Edit: Checked, yea it's 2nd place item... <.<.... Can you check if you can purchased this items?

Master Casters Bracelets are one of the items that theoretically should be able to be bought (if your Nation is first and Windy is second), but in practise aren't available.

Items that are available when Windurst is in any Conquest Ranking are available from War Warlocks in Foreign nations - items available only when Windurst is in 1st or 2nd are not available from War Warlocks in Foreign nations

I tried to get a second place Item from Windurst too. You can't, even if your country is first place. (imagine how rare it was to get Bastok 1st, Windurst 2nd, Sandy Last 2-3 years ago.)

Seems to me you can only get items from nations that are always available, I.E. the items you'd get if your nation was third place.

Cost of said item is Rank +1.

For instance, if you wanted another nation's Rank 6 Cape, you would have to play a Rank 7 price for it, and if you wanted a Rank 7 Item, you'd have to pay a Rank 8 price to get it, etc.

Bah, thats retarded. Well I highly doubt i'm going to switch nations and rank up because of the outposts I have, so guess i'll just have to keep wishing that SE might make comparable items in future updates, or change it so that we can get those items.

And yeah, I think instead of paying 40k CP for the mitts they were offering me from Windurst, the cost was 48K.

Do what I'm doing and get Rank 10 in every nation. That way you get every item avialable in said country. Only Sandy left btw. ;D

I would, but then I lose all the outposts I currently have as a San d'Orian which I wouldn't want to do, especially now that they only allow you to do one supply quest in a 24hr period.

Actually that one supply quest in a 24hr period is a crock, I recently switched to Bastok so I could see more mission storylines, and got all 7 of the regions they had last week in the same day, it's still an ingame day wait.

They don't work in ToAU, or when your home nation is in control, so you need an alternative as well.

From a RDM perspective, they're pretty nice though, the only hand piece (for RDM) with Enfeebling Skill. Alternatives for landing enfeebles are Morrigan (with MagAcc+5) or Nashira (MagAcc+3) neither of which are easy. Yigit have the best INT/MND of any RDM hands (5/5) while Hume RSE has 4INT/4MND and 35MP and these are pretty good alternatives (most enfeebles use a mix of Accuracy and INT/MND so that not only does an Enfeeble land, but it does something too...)

For nuking Genie Gages have 8 Elemental Skill, A Hands have Mag Att+5 and Yigit have 5 INT and 2 MagAtt.
