Canadians are crazy

That's really bad no doubt. But nothing compared to the crazy things that happen in the states.

I agree.

I lauged when he said that nothing that crazy would happen in the U.S. lol...

I once killed a man in Reno, just to watch him die.

*shot, noob.

moral: crazy shit can happen anywhere, and it doesn't happen more place than anywhere else >.>

I agree.

I lauged when he said that nothing that crazy would happen in the U.S. lol...

I didn't say nothing crazy would happen in the U.S. I just said it wouldn't happen on a bus. Decapations are pretty crazy and rare thing in the first place. Decapation on a bus, not something thats happened in the U.S. that I've ever remember hearing about. But I'll do some research.

My god, that's horrifying...

Let the fucker who did this die a very slow, torturous, painful death and burn in hell, regardless of the laws in Canada.

Anything can happen anywhere. Just because it hasn't happened, doesn't mean it can't.

Count the number of decapitations that have happened on a bus recently in the world. It's not fair to say that it wouldn't happen anywhere, when it has barely happened anywhere.

Also: 9/11. Michael Jackson. Would never happen in Canada.

It's all well and good to ask "Why didn't anyone help the victim?" but who's going to make the first move? If I saw the attack, would I take the initiative? The wannabe hero side of me says yes, but the side of me that isn't full of BS says no. Truth is, I value my life more than the life of a complete stranger. If I could help in a way that wouldn't get me gutted and beheaded, then I'd be happy to assist. I'd join a pigpile of others who thought they could save the day. I wouldn't assume others would jump to my aid though, so I wouldn't play Superman.

yeah, we heard about it.

also, I find it kinda ironic that you have Alex DeLarge as your avatar and you're speaking about the disgusting nature of murders.

This was a horrible event for everyone involved.

Craziness isn't contained by country borders. Like other people have said, it could happen anywhere.

For something like this, I can't help but wonder what went through the head of the attacker. Perhaps its better I don't know.

They reported he was in an almost robotic state, so why did no one try to stop him? Yes he had a "Rambo sized knife" but there being a couple big boys on that bus not to mention 30+ passengers in total, would no one try to help this kid?

This:
Sorry but if I was on that bus and I saw a dude gettin stabbed to death, the first thing going through my head would be "get the fuck off this bus" not "go help the guy with 8 holes already in his chest".

and this:

Truth is, I value my life more than the life of a complete stranger.
I very much agree with this statement.

But you should close this thread mods. Or merge em. Or something

From my understanding, he didn't even jump up and do it, he kinda did it calmly. After a stop, he sat down next to the guy, and when they were on the road, began stabbing the shit out of him. From the reports I read, the victim wasn't even aware he was being stabbed at first.

Let's try and keep things more on the civil side, please. ^^

Its not just Canada this happens, observe the recent reports from Greece.
Reuters reports that a Greek man on the island yesterday cut off his girlfriend's head and then paraded around the tourist-heavy parts of the island carrying it.

Horrified residents and tourists watched as the man attacked police officers with a knife, then fled in a stolen police car before crashing into a motorcycle, injuring two women. Police finally apprehended him by ramming the police car.

Police said the man had psychological problems.
No shit...

It was a terrible thing that happened. But if ones going to question those that couldnt stop it its like questioning why someone didnt stop those wwho hijacked the planes on 9/11. Chances are it happened so fast and was so terrible that there really wasnt much anyone could do before it was too late other than save their own lives from this psychopath.

TLDR;
The daughter of the founder of the Westboro Baptist Church, based in Topeka, Ka., told CTV.ca she and several other church members will go to Winnipeg on Saturday to demonstrate against what she described as McLean's "filthy way of life."

Shirley Phelps-Roper said his life was emblematic of Canada's moral decay.

"God handed us a gift," Phelps-Roper said in a phone interview on Thursday.

"(His death was) supremely unemotional. You got God shaking in rage. There is no emotional component ... He was a rebel against God. He was taught to be a rebel by his parents. He came from a rebel country ... They brought this wrath upon his head. And it sucks to be him and it sucks to be them,"

"You gotta connect the dots, people ... from your idols to your filthy way of life,"

"Here's what I know. He is dead and God does not do that to people that serve in his truth."

"I haven't met him personally, but he has nothing going on," she said dismissively.

Wanna talk about shaking in rage...

Why are people so ignorant? I don't want to say anything in general about the religious... but DAMN the contradictions huh!

Hmm what is it..., "Judge not, that ye be not judged." ?? yea

Shit even I remember that one and I'm not religious by far >.>

To add to Props post.. here are 2comments that really stood out for me..

Louise
And these people praying to the same God that I do-- how scary is that?
What about do not judge?
This group is a fine example of God's loving children and to think that children in their 'church' are being raised with such hatred and hostility. Heaven help us.
God rest that young man's soul. Such a horrible way to die.

As a Christian I denounce these religious nutbars and their judgmental stance against everything! There is a line in scripture that sums up Christ's reaction to them: "Father fogive them for they know not what they do." This church needs an intervention!

Morchy... FUCKING AMEN (sorry if I offended anyone)
