Just left a pt blm blm rng pld rdm sam(me). sounds good right?

How does 1800 an hour sound. WTF!!!!!!

People, when you get into parties like this, they are supposed to run ridicoulus amounts of xp. They blamed it on not having a whm.

I blame it on them not adjusting. We apointed one blm Kinkerbelle to do barwatera, had it a couple of fights, but ended up with str down about 80% of the time.

the crabs kept shell and defense boost damn near the whole fight, everyone would be drained, and one blm would have 300 mp. i'm hitting for 0, the big damage spells are gettting resisted and its taking forever to get a kill.

then i get a tell "Non mages just dont know how hard it is" from kinkerbelle. there isnt a job in this game that takes a fucking masters degree to perform, even with additional tasks piled on.

Bigjohnson Pld (who had done a great job last time i pt'd with him) wasn't doing a good job, the ranger is only hitting for 40-50 instead of 70-90 because no dispel.

Party just sucked, rdm sucked blm sucked blm sucked pld sucked rng sucked and i sucked. wasted my time and my good food, i need to carry around meatkabobs from now on.

Lemme guess..... The mob had a shred of life and some fights all hell broke loose?

Switch the sam for another blm =P, hard to skillchain with a pld.

Um WTF you have samuria for . . . Thats one of your problems and if you were in your DRK form, there is yet another, That is far from a cannon PT, A canon PT is more like BLM BLM BLM RDM BRD PLD, or BLM BLM BLM RNG BRD PLD, a mele in the place of a mage seriously WTF! That does not qualify for a canon PT at all!

i really dont understand how that is a cannon pt. its borderline cannon. a cannon pt with a pld would be something like 4 rng, 1pld, and a rdm. ive had that setup before and no time anywhere in any of the battles did the pld fight. we had him running circles as the rdm used gravity and obviously us rangers shot the thing to hell.

LOL yes, that's exacly what I was thinking!
The Cannon partys I've been in, we've been BLM x 5 and BRD or RDM....
 
ok, not cannon, i'll give you that, but 1800 an hour with this set up is pure crap. at worst 3.5k, but i was expecting 4-5k an hour.

point is people get set on how they play their job and didnt adjust for a set up that is better than whm pld rdm blm dd dd.
 
Honestly I dont think a cannon party is allowed to have a Pld. I mean it just doesnt work! A cannon party is something in which one little mistake means death. Useful for dishing out the damage, but cant take it. Still, that was a pretty reasonable NORMAL party and should not have been getting shit exp. But then again, crabs suck! Move on to greener pastures... Good luck Meeze!

blm cannons do good with a pld =P I've seen some plds keep the hate from a volley of fireIV, plus spells take a while to cast, we need someone to take the beating while we setup.
 
Oh I wont say anything then. I just figured a Ninja doesnt take the damage, and it takes like what? 2 volleys of level 4 spells to kill something? So you guys blink a hit and then maybe take another and kill it. That is just how my mind has this whole Cannon pt thing worked out ^^. Course Im all about them 4 Rng cannon parties 8) . Err I think its 5 Rng and a bard? I shall try it soon mwhahah!

blms spreading hate, stunning and binding etc.. works.. but.. it's alot more work =P with a pld it's slightly slower but a -ton- safer/easier to do

I think that all that damage "balances" out, if you will. Instead of 1 spike of hate that a Blm generates in a normal party, it is now one big spike. Hell Ive seen tombmages run around in circles not attacking anything because they got knocked silly. :P
 
Man, i remember being in a cannon pt in Cape Terrigan. Lord was it fun. It was BLM, BLM, BLM, BRD, RDM, PLD and at like 90% HP the 3 of us would just do Freeze to anything that the guy would pull. Talk about Raking in xp? I swear, the mobs hp would race down to 0 at the right time. ;) man do i want to do another one of those lol.
