Is FFXI down? I can't connect to the lobby server...sorry for this lame post but I'm kinda freaking out.
 
Most likely congestion or bad connection on your side. Playing FF just fine atm.
 
Joy, 'cause I also can't connect to Gaiaonline or Yahoo...this aughta be fun when I finally can...
 
Okay, this is retarded. I still can't connect, suggestions anyone?

Well, didn't help the fact Yahoo and Gaia don't work...PS2 is still 'thinking'

I can't connect even to log into PoL, not just FFXI anymore...how could the connection be so busy?

Outdated yeah, but expect maitnence maybe, though it seems I'm the only one with the problem as of now.

Any care to test to see if Tharongi Maze(SP) (The one from tele-mea zone) is having problems? Only do it if you don't plan to play for a while, cause the area might be bugged, I was camping argus and AFKed last night to get ToD, woke up today and I timed out.

Okay, this is really pissing me off, I can't log in at random points, at times, FFXI lobby, at times PoL lobby, and now between PoL and FFXI. Square-Enix.com isn't working, neither is the support page on PoL.com...anyone know the contact number for PoL so I can rip them a new one?

EDIT: Managed to get into SE.com. Though their support isn't working either, I feel PoL is going to take a shit very soon and this game will draw to an end...

I had this a while back. I couldnt log in a whole night, during the next day it worked fine but at night, same problem. I could not really fix it but at day 3 all worked fine again.
 
If you can't get websites to work and what not, wouldn't you think its a router/modem/your internet issue? lol.
 
I reset it, and how would connection to PoL via PS2, and contacting the support page of Mozilla Firefox be so coincidental...? It's not my router.

EDIT: And I just logged in to PoL okay...unlike before I was having problems, but I still can't transfer from PoL to FFXI...that isn't a router issue, it's server side, cause PoL hosts FFXI so if I can access PoL, I SHOULD be able to access FFXI since it's through the same network/server.

EDIT2: Q&A is down as well. Swell...

I often get timed out when I zone into Port Jeuno, then I'm unable to connect for 1~3 Days, I can get to some screens, but If I get to the log in screen, I timeout. Just wait it out.
 
I think it's probably a general issue, because I'm getting timed out right now. I just got finished the update from yesterday, my internet is fine, and I use the ps2. I've been timed out three times during the "Notifying lobby server of current selections." I occasionally get timed out, but after the second restart, it connects fine.
 
Well, i'm back on...and I ironically missed the Argus pop...joy...anyone know ToD on it?
