One thing that people are forgetting though is that so many people, some of whom have posted in this thread, CONTINUE to reply to him. If people really would just ignore him, and I mean ignore in a very strict sense of the word, I would venture to guess that at least half of his annoying posts would be disappear since he would not have the need to reply to replies (if that makes sense).

You're right. It doesn't. People talk like there are hundreds of good topics they have to post in. There aren't. There are maybe a handful of interesting threads at any given time. Further, Hellstorm isn't the only one who makes useless posts. There are quite a few. I believe Westyle made his whole internet persona based on the idea. Zaltana too. Those two tend towards deliberate humor, but there are others who do little more than one or two word pc+1 posts. When you think about it, you're skimming past more spam than content regardless. People want Hellstorm gone just like they wanted Blazn gone. But, where do you draw the line? There are so many crappy posts, by so many people, I think when the community was done banning, there'd be five people.

I'm sure everyone here agrees that hellstorm's posts are becoming more and more troll-like, so why hasn't any action been taken since flaming and trolling outside of the designated area is against the rules?

There is a point where the dead horse can not be beaten anymore. Either because the dead horse is a bloody pulp, or for other reasons has disappeared.

You're waiting for this feature, and Reeve is still waiting on vBulletin 3.7B5.
