Can't post in Auction board?

Tried to respond to a user's AH posting to let them know I would be willing to trade, but the board says I can't post.

Is the AH section only postable by the original poster or something?
 
Thanks... But considering not everybody checks their PMs I think this kind of makes the AH kind of ineffective... Back to the mules in Battalia.
 
I like it. Don't have to deal with BS and threadcrapping in your WTB or WTS thread.

On the flipside, this has severely impaired my threadcrapping in other people's WTB and WTS threads.

I can't help but laugh at the people who say "post a reply here, I don't check my PMs" in their OP. Then come back a couple days and bump it, saying "what, nobody wants this ub4r lettuce?!?"

I'm actually with you on this...wish people could possibly haggle on those threads. lol
 
I think most people who post on the AH forum keep a lookout for PM offers regardless if this rule was in effect or not.
 
I have no idea...some peoples permissions may be messed up

Mods belong to a higher permissions group. Admins are equivalent to god as far as access rights go, and can see everything including private forums. Both of these groups undoubtedly have posting priviledge to the AH board.

How Flamey did it, I have no idea. I'm guessing h4x as well. Never trust a French-Canadian.
