I was going to post that i was in the same boat as Aud with the QCDN dyna thing, and that i'm on literally every day at some point, but i keep getting the permissions thing when i click on the post reply button.

Sorry for it being a 2-parter.

I think only people designated for posting dynamis schedules are allowed to post in that part of QCDN.

Edit - Why does my laptop sign in as Chii :S.

its directed to shell holders etc that help post dynamis requests i believe. lol. But yea i dunno :P

Really? Lol, oh wow i'm dumb. It just showed under event scheudling, and i figured i would throw my hat in the ring. Well, that shows i'm an idiot. GG qcdn.

lol /comfort mak

Go make a dynamis shell!!!! lol j/k

I also think it seems fairly silly that only if you lead/makescheudle for a dynamis shell that you be a mod for it. Anyone can recieve PM's and post stuff like that with dates.

I honestly think the person who takes over as the dynamis mod should be someone who has few to no conflicts with anyone else.

The part where you uphold the laws, or the part where you have a massive disdaine for jyakotsu?

One person so far has stated they have a problem with Audino, and that's jyakotsu. Only other two who are vying for the position are Achates, who doesn't really seem to care one way or the other, and jyak, who people probably won't want anyways as a lot of people have had problems with him before.
tbh, so far Audino seems to be the best bet. He seems to really be interested in the position, and he did say he's on "almost every day". All we'd need to know then is if he's good at handling scheduling conflicts.
What if we took the top three or four picks, gave them reign over scheduling with linkshells that run on the same day (mon-fri, tue-sat, etc.), and see how they do then?
In the end though, the decision won't affect me. But it's fun to see such a shift in the board's way of working, what with Arturus having manned the dynamis forums for so long.

I still don't see why its only dynamis leads that can do it. I feel i would be perfectly capable of doing it.

Have to agree with this, in fact I think it should be someone who not a dynamis leader so there is no biased conflicts.

I agree with this.

If you are to make this a thread regarding the personalities wishing to be dynamis scheduler - by all means, do so without the personal attachés.

List real reasons why a person would not make a good scheduler. Otherwise, I'd rather not see personal vendettas.

I am open to seeing anyone with a good track record step up and take the cheese. I don't think it has to be limited to a Dynamis lead unless the shell leaders amongst themselves would like to send me a PM stating otherwise.

That is completely unnecessary. There is little/no interaction between the leaders and the schedule maker anyways. Just because someone holds a personal grudge doesn't mean that person isn't suitable to set up a simple schedule. This website is becoming ridiculous with its finger pointing and cliques, especially when it deals with something as trivial and simple as the matter at hand.

Edit: Didn't read the rest of the thread, Arcty said it better. Continue.

But a personal vendetta could be the difference between getting or losing if there are time conflicts.

Probably should just have a mod create a topic asking for volunteers to pm them privately then they can decide amongst the applicants without the world getting involved, since it's really no one's business.

...That's not even how it works now. Art doesn't resolve conflicts, he points them out and the leaders of the shells that overlap work it out between them. There's no way to be biased in this position, the entire job is copy/pasting.
