i'm lancing and i'm coming back!!!!!!!!!!!!
just have to get a copy for the 360. does anyone know if i'll be able to attach my old content ID to an account that i've set up on a new console? (i used to play on ps2) (which sucked)
 
I'm not sure, I think so - but I know I read on here somewhere that once you submit a registration code it gets linked to your live account and there is no way to change it. So be careful and get all the information before you register.

no, you cannot transfer content ID's to other accounts :(

But you can, however, use your OLD game registration # (if you have the 8 digit registration code and password) while installing onto the 360. This is nifty because you have leftover codes you can either give to a friend or keep for yourself if you feel the need to make a second account (such as a gf, wife or friend playing while you play)
 
Not only is Lancing gone, I'm looking at a 5-hour update. SE just kicked my ass. BTW, about the server migration thing.. does it allow you to choose which server a character you've just created will be on? If not, could anyone donate some gil for a worldpass? Thanks

yeah, I believe you can now choose which server you would like to begin playing on
 
just make a new account with your old member registration (ie: HGSI8976 then use the same pw) something like that and you can use your old account, thats what i did when i put ffxi on my comp while it was on ps2
