Got into a car wreck a few hours ago. We're trying to settle the incident outside of the insurance companies because it wasn't to bad just scuffed the fender up some and knocked it a little out of place with a broken light covering piece thing.

Was wondering if anyone knew a relative price for a Chrysler PT cruiser on how much either

A. it would cost to just replace the fender and its instillation fee

or

B. the cost of tryin to reposition the fender correctly and a paint job + the light cover..

Get an estimate from a body shop. Most will do it for free..

The actual fender? Or the bumper? I just want to check because I know people who don't know the difference even though they are 2 seperate things lol

eep correction its the rear end. He got an estimate (I'm waiting to see some paper work) from his dealership and his mechanic quoting somewhere between 2.5k-2.7k range damn :\

Wait... the estimate for a damaged back bumper is 2500? That seems ... ridiculous. I have pinged out dented bumpers to look brand new and done it for $50 lol

There has to be more to this then a dented bumper and a broken light...

someone ran into the back of my yukon like 6 months ago and it was a minor accident at best... but it was a little over $4000 dollars to fix it back to normal. Just a respray on a single part where they dont have to do any body work is gonna cost 500+ after matching and mixing paint, part removal, and masking, then striping, priming, painting and clear coating and reinstallation... plus that eluisive labor fee... That 2.5k estimate is prolly correct and may even be low.
