I jus got carbuncle mitts yesterday night.. (wee)
I notice some hidden effects other than the known reduced cost for carby.. i found that it has a somewat enhanced fast cast effect.. avatars come out at ard 70% casting instead of the usual 90% casting.
Next, I notice its MUCH HARDER to lvl summoning magic with the mitts...
when i got it.. i forgot to equip it initially.. i lvled 0.5 skill in ard 1hr.. when i found this out... i happily equiped my new carbuncle mitts... then for the next 1.5hrs... i lvled 0.1 only. -_-"
Can anyone comfirm this??

Also, some tips for anyone who is looking for the offering.. for me.. it was in the deepest room of the 6 ; ;
I casted stoneskin n phalanx and trained the tonberry and pots in from "maze" room out all the way to the zone 1st.. then i quickly zone back in... invis and went straight to the hidden door... took off invis.. open.. and invis again.. in the "maze" room... now left only 3 tonberries ;D.. i took off invis again and went thru the next hidden door... the deeper rooms' passage is EMPTY with only a iron madian... i casted stoneskin n phalanx again.. went to the 6th door... opened it... touch the ??? got the offering and ran back out... then i casted escape...
Training the mobs to the zone maybe easier for me coz i'm a rdm w/ stoneskin and phanlax... and fyi... i'm only lv64rdm.. a whm maybe able to do it but may need a higher lvl...
This may sound ez... but its not.. well... not for me at least... this was my 1st trip and only trip ;D
But i died like 3 times.... 1 was in den of rancor.. i thought the stupid pucks were non active... ouch.. next was in the 4 rooms' passageway... i opened the 1st left door and then i saw mr.tonberry smiling at me.. i ate a firaga IV and a banishga IV... i escaped my body out.. ; ; ouch again.. then the 3rd death was i took a bad move.. some thf trained many tonberrys to the zone... i zoned in and died instantly w/o knowing theres a train in the room -_-"
